So, since Crucible, we have been able to set our autopilots to stations (yay!)
Unfortunately, the CCPEVE.setDestination() doesn't seem to have received the message. And will only set your destination to a solar system ID, and not a station ID.
I run the locator tool, (blatant plug) http://eve-locator.justaddhippopotamus.com/ And my users have asked that I let them set their destinations when using the in-game board to the stations instead of just the system. Which is especially useful when a particular system has 10+ stations and you need to find the particular one that has your agent in it.
Any chance that we get some love on this? You are the internet equivalent of a Mars bar filled with stupid. |

I second this option as also i have a similar function.
It can be quite confusing and "not user friendly" if not atleast the station could be highlighted.
Like when you set destination to a station. |

Hmm, isn't this already here? When I set my destination to a station and look at the overview the station is yellow - but I only notice this sometimes. Maybe there's a bug? |

Hm...I'll put the appropriate code back up again and try it. If you manually set destination to a system it works, but last time I tried it post Crucible it didn't when you used the CCPEVE.setDestination() javascript.
I just recently got a lot of asks for it so I figured I'd post in here in the vain hopes that someone who can do something about it will read it. You are the internet equivalent of a Mars bar filled with stupid. |

I know it works through the in-game interface, so I think it's probably a bug! |

Well sort of. It is working as per the documentation..which says it takes a systemID.
I'd like it to be able to take a stationId... Which makes it a feature request, not a bug as was pointed out to me when I reported it as a bug.

Nothing in the patch notes about this...it really is a 'little thing' (ahem...nudge nudge CCP Punkturis) or at least it *should* be a little thing. You are the internet equivalent of a Mars bar filled with stupid. |

Would it not be so simple as modifying the setdestination(id) to setdestination(type, id), thus setting destination to station type then station id.
Hope someone takes notice to this. Would be awesome to really have this functional. |

They have already fixed it, about last week or so. eve-locator now punches you directly to the station when you set autopilot. You are the internet equivalent of a Mars bar filled with stupid. |
