Black Scorpio Impending Doom Inc. The Crimson Federation	Posted - 2008.03.20 18:38:00 - [1] Hey all, Looking for a nice solid PvP fitting for a Navy Mega. Does a faction repper/resists pay off that much and are they worth it on this ship? Regards, Black
arbalesttom Glauxian Brothers	Posted - 2008.03.20 18:58:00 - [2] Navy Mega shines with a passive tank, if you want a active tank you should look for a Vindicator. This is what i use, replace for t2/faction where you can: High: 7x Neutron Blaster Cannon II (CN AM/Null) 1x whatever fits Medium: 1x Domination 100mn MWD 1x Dark Blood Disruptor 1x Dark Blood Web 1x Amarr Navy Cap Booster (cant remember heavy or medium) Low: 3x Gallente Navy MFS 2x 1600mm RT Plates 2x Dark Blood EANM 1x IFFA Damage Control Drones: 4x Berserker II 5x Warrior II Rigs: 3x Trimark Armor Pump Without slaves it has around 35k armor hp, with a HG slave set i think it gets something around 60k armor hp(). Deals out sick damage and has a verry good buffer. I prefer ECM drones just incase i run into something nasty. Can get you out of a tight spot, but otherwise its the same setup as i use. EVE is like the "Fisherman's Friend" of MMOs. If it's too hard, you are too weak.

Deals out sick damage and has a verry good buffer. Thansk for the fit m8, would it be so terrible to have a faction rep instead of the second 1600 plate? The reason being you'd always have to dock and armor rep unless there's a dedicated support ship. Also for Drones 5x med hammerheads II, 5x med ECM and 5x warriors?

And no to the rep, it has a good natural armor hp, so especially if your going with this plate setup with the trimarks, one less 1600mm RT basicly breaking your own tank. I know it feels scary to not have reppers (you should try to use this exact same setup on a mega first and lose it a couple of times to get a feeling for it) but this type of tank is just great. Heheh, you're going to get me sooo killed with this "no repper stuff" :) might try 1v1 with some peeps first :) but i see what you mean. However, how about 2 faction reppers, and Cap rigs. Do you think that the extra shield would be better than 2 booming, overloaded faction reppers in the long run?
