Hi I have played eve 3 times , the first time I hated it because I joined a corp to fast and only new how to mine, I never got told about insurance and clones and lost a hefty amount of skills , anyway the second time I played I absolutely loved it , I went my own way and got myself self sufficiant and semi okay at combat, I at this point see what people get out of eve. Anyway I needed a break and here I am back for the third time! I have now got the skills for a raven but have yet to use it, you see I lost money paying bills while I was away! , I insured my retriever today which I have yet to use and the raven isnt comming out the hangar until its insured!
I plan to mine in high sec until I have a clue again lol but I was just wandering when I do start running missions again what level do you suggest I start with? Its been so long you see and do you think it will take ages for me to mine ore in high sec to pay for the raven insurance using my retriever? (Also Im using strip miners ....2 of them and 2 t2 cargo extenders, strip miners are for ore right? sorry for my ignorance its been so long!)
It was maybe 1 year ago I played, is PvP worse now? When I was thinking of re-activating my account I seen a thread on here yesterday and some guy was going quite mad as he was ganked over and over. I accept this is part of the game and will get a Pvp ship like a crow when I have the money but what worries me is he says he was in high sec! Im just hoping I can make some money in high sec to finance losses! Im lucky if I have 1 mil isk. Irrespective of this Im really looking forward to the game! I see that the eve site boasts new addons , what changes were made? and I feel so lost atm , any tips are welcome.
I also used to have a 1 man corp for the corp hangar facility but I am going to join a small corp and hopefully help to build it up when I get off my feet. Heres the thing though my 1 man corp :) well when I left bills built up and Im not sure but I think my security rating went down - items got impounded (All my own stuff) and I could afford the bill. Is this whats put my rating down? I just got all my stuff liquadated and left the corp.
Finally with me disbanding my corp and it not being the case that I left some corp bad , do I still need to wait 24 hours before re-joining a corp again?

There's an alliance called Goonswarm that has been going around blowing up people in high-sec for fun, but you should be okay as long as you're not in a Covetor or Exhumer.
The first thing you should do is create a new character on your account and DO THE TUTORIALS. Some things are the same, some aren't. Also I'd consider joining the EVE University corporation, they can bring you up to speed on all the game mechanics and such.
Also, a bunch of people whine on here how everything is terrible and that EVE is dead now, despite having 230K subscribers.

Thanks :) here I was just wandering is it still the case that you can only train one skill between your main and alt or is each character truely seperate now so we can skill up to chars without paying double fees? (Just curios :) )
