These things are like gold dust to find... I remember about 3 months ago I could go about 5-6 jumps out and find a couple slots to do some research... now I can't find any!
As the number of people in this game is rising (9000+ people at the weekend!) I think the number of things like lab slots should also increase to bring balance to the game.
Either that or they should put the prices of the lab slots up to help combat the people that squat them for no reason at all and try to sell them on the market place.
I guess it's tactics to do that but I mean come on! 9000+ people and I bet there's not even half that many slots available... 
What does anyone else think? And what could be done to help fix the situation with noobie corps that can't research blueprints because all the long running corps / players have got them all

I see slots avilb. now and then - I think it is nice that they are a bit rare in high sec. space

Do the following please - or at least consider it:
Have the number of offices in each station infinite (or as programically close to it as possible). Have the number of laboratories and factories also infinite.
THEN
apply a multiplier for how many corps have a corp office in the station in question when calculating office rental fees for each rental period.
Do the same for labs and factories.

There are plenty of labs. You just have to look. Our corp knows a system with 60 free labs... we don't hog them because no one ever bothers to take them...

You can try patience, too. Took 2 weeks of checking twice a day, but I have a lab slot on a highway system :)
