Well yesterday I got a nice eve-mail from agent, that we had found something. I had to do a few things first, but after a couple of hours a got the usual eve-mail from him, saying we had run into a problem. When I arrived there was nothing for me other then a research mission . I often have a mission avilb. before I get an eve-mail, is it nerfed?

two things....
Quote: I got a nice eve-mail from agent, that we had found something
the daily rd mission evemail is a bit misleading if not read properly. the RD agent always starts out shouting about how sucessful blah blah.... it might be easy to just read the first few words and be mislead into thiking the RD agent has actualy done something.
the evemail for a sucessful BPO is very different. you will know when you recive one.

Yes....dont ask me what casues it...but your rd agent will not always send you an evemail for your daily job. you can be fairly sure the rd agent will give 1 job a day. so if no evemail for a while just pop down and see him.

Yes Zinjan i've noticed this evemail bug myself.
I use to get a regular evemail asking for stuff, and then decided not to asnwer them for a few days as i was too far away. Now I dont get any evemail from none of the research agents which i have projects with (4 in total), but if i visit them i get a mission.
In all honesty I dont do any of the missions now they are too expensive and time consuming to run for an extra days rp. Seems a waste of time when the whole lottery seems to make no difference how many Rp's i have, if i get abpo i get a bpo, if i dont i have not spent millions upon millions of isk in research agent missions.

You actually did get an eve-mail from the agent. You go do a mission for your agent. Then roughly 24 hours later you get the eve-mail about another mission. If you do this you get another eve-mail with another mission in 24 hours.
If you on the other hand ignore the mission/eve-mail. Then the mission is still there waitng for you, but you don't get another mission every 24 hours.
I think someone once said something about a max of 7 days that either a breakthrough or a std mission will wait for you. But I can't remember. So if someone knows please share the info.
FYI a standard mission mail's subject line reads I've encountered a problem
A breakthrough aka BPO mail reads I've had a breakthrough and continues Our research has been fruitful. If you're interested, I believe we could have a patententable a Smurgleblaster IX Blueprint. Contact me as soon as possible if you're interested.

Thx for the answers: the eve-mail said Our research has been fruitful... don't think it said what bpo it was. But contacting my agent doesn't make any option other then moving research, and yes I only use one agent . This sucks, hope it was something ****ty

You most likely got the mail...
Quote: Our research has been fruitful, but I've encountered a snag and our research has been halted. Please contact me as soon as possible.
This is just another standard stop mission.
