When the h@ll are you going to fix the forum so we can easily see all our post , get a decent search engine (you can write the topic word for word as it is and still don't find the thread) ++
It about time you revamp this whole POS Forum (and I don't mean player owned station) I mean piece of ....
Am I the only one fed up with this crap. I mean c'mon how hard is it to make a good forum, if you can't make a good forum yourself go with BB, thats a good forum engine.
FFS enough is enough!!!

A proper forum is not only better, it's a MUST.
This is the worst forum engine I have ever encountered!

The recent live Dev Blog had one of the Dev's talking about redoing the the Forums...so its already in the works.
Although were I a dev and I saw Darwins wording of 'When the h@ll'...I would probably ignore him. Not really the best way to convince people there D.D.

Hey, I give H@lls where h@lls are due, and I'm pretty sure the devs will not put a much needed revamp on hold just because someone spoke the truth in harsh language 
If they do they have no place in this business in the first place. But I'm fairly confident they know the forum needs love and this was just a push.
If you had any brains you would say, "yeah revamp it yesterday" to push them to put some manpower into it. afterall it is in their interest to have people find stuff by searching instead of posting another thread on the same topic.
Hell, I've even posted a thread about this before, but couldn't even find my own thread by using the fubar search!

I hope they keep the color scheme the same.
I find it very easy on the eyes. And for a forum that is incredibly important.
Other than that hack away!

I have to agree, The eve-o search engine is beyond useless.
The only thing you will ever find with this engine is posts that are several YEARS old
You wanna find anything upto date and relevant forget it, you've got no chance.
As suggested above use eve-search, its an infinitely better search engine

CCP is not interrested on a working search engine.
They hope everybody will forget what was spoken yesterday...
Especially all the "official" opinions of CCP employments.
You can see it also in EVE Information Portal.
Do you see a WORKING moderation? Do you find a index?
Nothing.

Seconded. The only things wrong with the forum are the abominable search engine and the way it logs you out all the time, which breaks the image-displaying now, etc.

People who pay a monthly subscription for any kind of a service should never be expected to have to use unofficial 3rd party sources just to to obtain vital information necessary to use that service.

Why don't they just get a vBulletin license already? It's a hundred bucks. I'm sure if they can code up this jalopy in their spare time they can whip up a plugin for vB that gets user ids and characters from the game with no trouble.

Search under relevance for lulz  Rly who uses the forum search function? Its bad for your blood pressure mate, try google its better sometimes to find stuff on eve-o forum lol

problem with the devs is they think if the customers are willing they should just ignore it, such as eve-search, and the buy/sell forum over at scrapheap. They cba to make a good search engin so you just get told to use eve-search, and they actually closed the buy/sell forum and told everybody to go use scrapheap which was ******* stupid.
They should know that butting in on things customers make is only bad when it's things like the stockexchange which is player run and very nice and is something that has come out of this sandbox, however eve-search is only there because we really need it but the devs cba so chribba was ever so wise as to do it for them. eve-search probably costs chribba abit of irl-isk to run aswell, so he's an every so nice chap to do it for them atm.

It would be nice to be able to search by poster, the "advanced search" leaves a lot to be desired.
Try searching for "Goonsquad" "R.E.P.O" you get "do you mean "goon squad" and "repo" no I dont... I had to use other words to find the thread I was looking for. Very very frustrating.

Ive been *****ing about these forums for close to 3 years, theyh've yet to do ANYTHING about it.
Im amazed, they're soo fricking antiquated.
