Is zealot any good? I dont see them in pvp, or when I cruise around. Is any1 using them, seems that it lacks power (stats wise) not sure how it is in combat though, any1 has any combat use with this bugger?

The Zealot is now a beast. It can easily pwn deimos after the patch...
It's a very very good ship right now.

I'm sorry, i do not fly amarr. One of my corpmates do, and he kicks ass with the new Zealot. Unfortunately, i do not know his fitting :(

There is no way a zealot is beating a deimos with 5xec600s.

It REALLY depends on what youre going to use it for. There are 3 pulse fits I can think of.

have you read the last patch message at all? The Zealot got changed, along with a few other ships.

Oh, it did? My mistake, tbh I was looking at the item database here, I guess they dont upgrade it along with game upgrades. Ill check it out when I log on, pls do tell your personal experience in pvp with this ship, if you have any. TY

Hahahah... OMG... Yeah, toss on another 5th High Slot, yep... great ship. It's a great ship, but when you add on a 5th High Slot and don't give it any sort of boost to CPU and PG, how the hell are you going to fit the 5th weapon on? Yes, people are doing it, but the main issue everyone is running into is CPU. A good tank and such takes a lot of CPU.
I want to fly the Zealot now, but sheesh, hard fit without Faction mods now.

I can make a fit that pumps over 400 dps at 32km range and has the same effective HP as the deimos (some 23k HP).
and I'm not using any kind of faction modules in it.
and liang showed a nano fit that uses no faction, and can fit 5 HPL II's in it at will.
of course that if you try to fit a tank with gank, you will struggle to fit the ship with just T2 mods, but then again, doesn't every HAC struggles to do such thing?

I'm not sharing my setup. :P
It's a good ship though. Fit 5x HPIIs, mwd, 3x HS, then fill in the blanks.
