I have a cyclone atm, and have the chance to sell it and get a hurricane.
I am getting ready for lvl3 missions in a few days (need .3)
Should I do it, or is cyc still as good?

For the moment, what are your skills? If you have more shield skills than armor skills then keep the Cyclone.
Another point to remember is that the Cyclone has a strong tank and though it does less damage, will survive almost anything a mission can throw at it.
My suggestion is to decide what you want to do in the future, if you want to PvP and are soon to do that then perhaps training for a Hurricane is the best bet, but if your going to PvE for a while, the Cyclone is best.
Lastly, make sure you have your Cyclone setup properly with as strong a shield tank as you can muster, get fittings from the forum sticky.

For mission running the cyclone is great. For PvP, the hurricane is fantastic.
Mission Cyclone
Hi
5x720 IIs, 3x Assault Missile Launchers
(Use rat specific ammo)
Med
MSB II, 2x Ratspecific Hardener IIs, 2x Rat Specific Resistance Amp IIs. (or can replace an amp with sb amp.)
Low
DCU II, 2x Gystab IIs, and BCU II
3 med drones, 2 light drones. (Rat specific)
Works great, even with all t I stuff. But use as much T II as possible. As skills allow, you can replace the assault missile launchers with HAMs or HMs.

I have been doing lvl2 missions quite easily with it
Fitted with 5x 720 howitz hart, and 3 heavy missiles launchers
Mids: Med named SB, Med/Large Shield Extender, Shield booster amp, Named Invul Field, and t2 cap recharger.
Lows: 3x PDS, and a Gyro
I only have 3mil SPs (and regarding armor or shield, they are split)
