OK I have sabayon linux installed on my PC (gentoo base) I have managed to get the initial part of the install done which is manually placing files in various directories.
Started the client DL 3 times now but all 3 times it has failed the checksum I have a feeling it is the memory on my main PC but I want to try something before I go down the route of buying new memory. I would like to DL the client using a diffrent PC I have and transfer it to the sabayon box for install to see if this would work unfortunatley i cant find the manual DL for the linux version.
As im on your standard UK type Bb service with only 20 GiG usage a month its eaten into my limit quite a bit already and ive still 2 weeks until its reset so I dont want to try on this PC again.
little help here if possable Hijackzorzzzz

I never found a manual download either and only had bad experience with the Cedega/Eve Bundle . I recommend wine and installing the Premium windows version on it. Work really stable and fast now. If your PC doesn't have a graphics card to run Premium install that one anyway and disable any premium graphics. Last time I tried the classic content it wouldn't let me past the login screen.
( yes its not really an answer if you want to run the "official" Linux client ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nimtras Startsript - The fastes way to start Quickfit on Linux ( oh yeah gotta love ads ;) ) |

Thanks nimtra for the pointer, PC is pretty much bleeding edge only built in december and happily runs 3 clients in premium mode :)
And a big thanks to Lingorm for supplying the direct links I shall be trying again tonight see if I can get EvE working on my sabayon box. Another bonus is gentoo repositaries also have 80% of the games I play so I can Install them straight from Portato just give them the key and im good to go , Looks like the dastardly M$ could be left alone until really needed.

That is the only place we distribute the files. But the LimeLight network then seeds them to their geolocated servers so that you always retrieve the files from a server located closer to you.
We do not support mirrors as we have no control over them and they could present older versions of the files.

Quite understandeble, but could you please, show links on your website for downloading those DATs, seperately?
I frequently reinstall cEVE (cedega+EVE=cEVE) but downloading those DATs takes over an hour, and I don`t wish my installs to take so much (of my allready short) time.
