Gate camping isn't PvP. Don't think of it as that, or you will be bored.
Gate camping is like fishing, waiting for the fish to come to you. You're dangling a hook in the water with a worm on it, hoping someone will come and try to grab it. And sometimes the fish gets away.

Gate camping is like subway camping. You wait for the retarded guy in a wheel chair(someone without bms) or the foreigner(someone without bookmarks and has no idea whats about to happen or just how dangerous that area is). Then you jump his ass(warp scramble) and knife em in the kidney(destroy ship), steal his wheelchair(loot) and kick him down the stairs(pod'd).

Quote: Gate camping always bored me to tears until our CEO Galavet explained to me what I was doing wrong. He told me I was thinking of it as PVP when I should have been thinking of it as fishing. I guess that's what most pirates see it as too - DB Preacher
My quote above was from the following thread: gate camping is like fishing
So, I believe I already said that. As did Galavet before me and as did Setec before him.
Now was there actually a point to your post?

I had a friend in high school that had a prostetic leg. He fell asleep at the beach one day and we buried it. He had a great sense of humor though and laughed his ass off when we couldn't remember where we buried it. Took us about 2 hours and like 50 people helping us look for it.
Also, gate camping isn't at all like fishing. A fish has a choice of whether or not to bite the hook. Gate camping is more like hunting. You know, where you sit up in a tree all day hiding and waiting for the right helpless defenseless litle animal to come along and slaughter it.
...Oh look, it a spotted owl...

fishing = hunting because fish cannot resist their natural reflexes of eating whatever they see.

Well, I suppose they do look like thumbtacks when you copy them to your hangar. "Hold still! I'll stab you with this thing! I mean it!"

Imagine that. More of life's sociopaths reducing human life to fishing stories.
Ignore that reality, but people act more "like themselves" in games than in life. Less rules, less fear, takes less courage.

The Zen and art of gate camping LOL
What art is in gate camping when you are stalking noobs that dont have instant book marks?
Where is the Zen in gate camping? bah For your info: Zen Buddhism is a branch of Mahayana Buddhism that emphasizes meditation, self-contemplation, and intuition over traditional forms of worship. It's practiced primarily in China, Japan, and Vietnam. A form of Buddhism that focused on both unity and self-denial, Zen Buddhism spread from China to Japan in 1200 AD. Enlightenment was defined as a "gateless gate." Rather than subscribing to the Western notion of achieving a reward at the end of a long struggle, an enlightened Zen practitioner simply sees everything as it is, as it's always been.
Zen Buddhism delights in koans -- puzzling or paradoxical statements or stories that are meant to aid meditation and spiritual self-discovery. Zen accents the idea of intuitive knowledge, questioning perceived assumptions of logic in words, sentences, and ideas. I leave you with a classic Zen koan: Here is a classic Koan:
Two monks were arguing about a flag. One said: "The flag is moving." The other said: "The wind is moving."
The Sixth Patriarch Hui Neng happened to be passing by. He told them: "Not the wind, not the flag; mind is moving." ref ask yahoo.

an utterly stupid, useless post.
PvP is combat between players. if you can t see this happening at gates, i can t help you.
if you think that it s not PvP because it s onesided sometimes, i can t help you either.
if you think that it s onesided the majority of the times, i d advice you to check your statistics. the majority of players travelling low sec space are no noobs!
most hunting (RL) is done the way fishing is, by waiting for the prey. patience is the virtue asked for!
to improve your knowledge on fishing i d tip you to read "old man and the sea" or cpt ahab s story.
what would you compare jumping away from the belt to a station/safepoint as soon as someone enters lokal to?

me, looking at map "no. of pilots in space", puzzled.
