This is why drugs are bad. The Federation really needs to do better with it's riffraff.

In fairness, the stations aren't so bad. The food's a little bland, though. The sense of intrusion is what really gets to one-- I feel more like an alien on an Amarr station than on those of any other race, and I think it must be because I don't share the local faith.
I wonder whether they get the same feeling visiting temple compounds on Saisio. ... Probably not. Our temples are much smaller.
At least they're less obnoxious than Gallente stations, where every time you turn around a scarcely-clad holographic woman is trying to sell you something (frequently herself) and less dangerous than Minmatar stations. I've been living part of the time at a Thukker Mix factory, and I'm reluctant to go out alone, particularly in unlit areas-- not because of the Thukker, who've been cordial enough on account of my association with the Angels, but because I'm afraid I'll fall down a hole and never be heard from again.

Hmm well you've obviously never met Praetoria Imperalis Excubitoris, we use only ships of Amarrian design as do many other loyalist corporations. Other pod pilots are free to pilot what they wish and i'm sure many Gallentians pilot ships of Caldari design to, so i fail to see your point.

I'll admit, Gallentean stations can be a bit...overwhelming. The bustling streets of a Gallente streets are...still bustling when no ones even around! However, i'd suggest you look for a small station in a lowly populated system, preferably a Fed Navy station. They can be a lot more calm if you avoid the primary residential areas. --------------------------------------------------

Stations in civilized space aren't that different from each other. Scratch the surface a bit (but not literally, please), and you'll find similarities everywhere.
Personally, I would feel a lot more out of place in a planetary environment of any kind than on an Amarrian-owned station.

To be fair, the Thukker Mix station is no way near as bad as I was expecting it to be... Okay it's a little rusty, and some older sections of the station have a tendency to creak threateningly at you when you walk in them... But it's relatively clean, and the locals have been surprisingly polite despite my Khanid blood. I've not felt the need to carry a sidearm even once. And not a fedo in sight!

This sentiment has always amused me. The Amarrians have a history of enslaving entire races. Having set a precident of outsourcing menial, manual labor in such fashion, is it such a mindblowing stretch for them to utilize the engineering of another race as well? Manual labor or intellectual labor...it's all for the use of God's people in the end.
Not that the "shiny toys" are insufficient in and of themselves. For the CVA, the Sacrilege, Zealot, Harbinger, Absolution, Armaggedon, Abaddon, Apocalypse and the Malediction all find regular success against all manner of tactics and vessels.
Usually the "afraid to bring your shiny toys to the party" sentiment branches from tactical short-sightedness, manifested as "aha, an Amarr paramilitary. I'll load up on Amarr ecm and utilize anti-amarr specific tactics and clean house." When it doesn't work, the knee-jerk response is "boohoo, you didn't fly the way I expected!"

What better way to know our enemy than by flying his ships and getting a first-hand knowledge of their weaknesses?
Some of us with Amarrian heritage don't necessarily follow the rigid lines of dogma and tradition, as the Khanid so magnificently manifest. To group all of us into a simplistic equation indicates a lack of insight. This insight must serve you well on the field of battle though, as you must awaken in a clone vat more often than not.
A recent foray into the Minmatar regions of Metropolis and Heimatar reminded me of stories of the ancient Calcutta slums. One could inhale the stench of some stations even before docking. I would venture this is pleasant to some, I suppose, reminds them of home....

I am gallete and i have only had an interest in caldari ships opposed to any other race, reason being as one said before "to understand the enemy better". Personally most caldari i met arent that bad but i still am cautious as they are traitorous. Gallente do have their own problems i will agree but i do think our Federation is the strongest of the races. I do wish anouther war would start between a race or two but thats just me. haha

Calling the Caldari traitorous is like calling the Minmatar traitorous. We were a people living under a foreign rule and we decided we did not want that. You resisted, we won. It is as simple as that. But as it stands now, a war between the Caldari and Gallentean peoples would be detrimental to both sides. I personally feel that the Caldari and Gallente have a bright future together. As for buckets of rust, Amarran ships hold their age very well, whereas an outdated Caldari or Gallentean ship is garbage. Minmatar also age well, as there is nothing capable of breaking or becoming outdated, as every component is intentionally outdated and broken.

Amarrian ships age well because the whole society is dedicated to hindering progress in any form, so the technology always stays "modern."
And Mr. Blackblood, you look and most certainly sound like you've been hitting the crash. Or the boosters. Or both at once.
