After taking a bp off my R&D agent he now dosn't seem to want to either display my new RP total, i.e. the 80 points I should of gained over the last 2 days, or alow me to take my research elsewhere.
I know other ppl have had this problem but How did you fix it?
Oh and he is still 'encountering problems'

Hi,
I would normally advise petitioning this....but this happened to me and I petitioned it. Unfortunately the GM's decided to cancel the project for me and any rp's I gained in the week after getting my BP were lost, altho the petition is still open and the GM says a dev is looking into it.... Long and short I think you will not see any gains...might be best to cancel the project and start again before the GM's cancel it for you....

Well I thought that but all that happens is the dialogue box comes back with the same 'take your research elsewhere' option.
I would quite happily cancel & start again only I can't cancel my research to reset the agent.
But what petition did you use bug or other? and were you able to start researching again?

I'm having the same problems.
I'm going to attempt switching agents briefly, if that doesn't fix things I'm going to petition.
Edit: If you don't mind losing any points since the BP you received, start/stop a project with another agent. At the very least, you can definately start with another agent. 8 jumps to see if my former agent has been unbugged by starting/stopping research elsewhere.

OK starting another Research project with a different agent doesn't reset the nerfed one. So thats not an option, I've filed a bug report - any other ideas as to what I can do?
I don't have many research agents avaliable so need to get this one back working.
Oh and when I try to file an 'other' petition I just get a unsupported format message in the browser - any ideas?

I have the same problem.
After I got a BPO some days ago ( ) my agent still continued to give me research missions ( ) though I did not start another research. In the info tab there is also no information for a running project. I started a research for another agent, doing now 3 researches for other agents (RPM skill level 2) - so it is impossible that my old agent is doing a research for me because this would be my 4th research project where my maximum is 3.
I fulfilled some research missions for my old agent, told him to make my research somewhere else (without success), ignored his e-mails but he¦s still giving me research missions each day and sends me hate emails when I ignore them  .
Seems to be a bug. So the only way is to petition it though I do not know if the GM¦s are reading petitions other than "stuck" and "exploit"  . Did not petition yet. |
