TCF lose 2 dreads and 1 carrier to very skilled pos gunners. GF all around thx for no smack talk

TCF lost 3 capitals for absolutely no reason to a deathstar anchored in NPC space. Made my day. Bravo les mecs.

Well Viral, the only thing worth mentioning was the sheer luck on POS-gunners side, timing and some good teamwork picking out the targets. The gunners picked off their targets just when they hit Siege, and barely had enough firepower to take them down. It might as well been that there where no kills except for a reinforced tower. No Foundation was part of the TCF gang at the time. On behalf of the coalition, thanks for a smack free local TCF, je salute! ___________________________

pc dude Ghosts of Ragnarok FOUNDATI0N	Posted - 2008.03.27 01:30:00 - [28] there were foundati0n present in e02, but the appearance of TCF was as much a suprise to us as it was to the owners of the pos, if not more. we were actually pursuing a hostile fleet and by chance that hostile fleet was sandwiched between our fleet and the TCF fleet. the -v-/fix fleet then logged (not that i blame them, as it would have been 31 losses on their part) so fdn pretty much just camped the gate, caught a few straglers and eventually went about our merry way as TCF left. in local there were about 20-30 FDN, and 100 or more TCF. with 198 in local, the rest, were -v-/fix.

KDM Pos's killed between 20 and 30 of your bs's for the 4 pos's we lost plus we killed 6 IAC bs's some support, a dread and arround 15 fighters. Not a great total and would probably been higher if pos's had not been so totaly broken when you attacked them but a good learnign experience. Razor was very effective at taking out Fix pos's in Q but ask your FC's about the 2 KDM deathstars im sure they remember.

As the only available suitable combat cable ship in space in the target system at the time what else was there to do but go on the offensive. Taking enormous personal risk (not the safety of bazillion hit point POS shields the POS gunners had, not the cosseted protection afforded by a multi billion ISK man of war for me) I engaged the enemy, flying a bag of scaffold poles with a bunch of oversized rocket launchers duct taped onto back. Repeatedly I throw my ship against the impossible odds. Launching wave after wave of murderous cruise missiles against the enemies weapons of war. I can report with some degree of confidence that I must have killed or damage multiple T2 sentry drones, repper bots and assorted other irritants. The loss of an enemy repair drone could easily qualify for me a credit on a capital kill, as this could have been the straw that broke the camels back. The conclusion of this heroic solo defence was that I was still in one piece and had stuck a mighty blow that the TCF capital fleet will never forget. Note for Trolls and the hard of thinking: Whilst the facts contained in this battle report are mostly accurate, it has been presented with the utmost tongue placed firmly in the cheek.

TCF brought around 80, plus FDN had a 30 man gang at the time, to reinforce the pos. 28 capitals including 2 Nyx were present. The pos killed 3 capitals at that time. Later that night, FDN brought less than 10 capitals to incap some guns. They also lost 3 capitals for their effort. When the pos came out of reinforced, TCF had around 25-30 capitals, a Titan which DDed twice, plus a small support gang, FDN also had a Nyx present, about 5 caps, and some support. For losses of 3 BS, 1 recon, and a few frigs, FIX/-V-/XIII/EVF and maybe a few other friends (killboard shows they had 65, we had 40), we still managed to kill 1 Moros, a few BS/BC/recons, and like 10 frigs. All in all, the lil pos that could killed a bit more than it was worth. Thanks for bringing it TCF and FDN, we will give you the opportunity to visit our poses again sometime soon I'm sure. Till then, keep your caps safe. To any naysayers, it's one thing to lose a cap in a hostile cyno jammed system. It's one thing to lose a cap or 3 reinforcing a faction deathstar. It's another thing to lose caps trying to reinforce the pos guns. It's another thing to lose a Moros with the pos in reinforced, with 35 caps present, after you've DDed our support twice. ----------- Primary is family values, secondary is 0.0...
