You know what I find amusing is when anybody pipes up about balancing crime and punishment a whole group of people get on and start calling that person a GÇ£carebearGÇ¥ and that GÇ£it's not a balance it's a way to ruin eve, Eve is all about greifing!GÇ¥ Some references to nub tears and expansions of ones own e-peen, yadda yadda yadda.
The ironic thing is that many of the balancing suggestions are asking for the opprtunity of reprisal. Now if these GÇ£l33t Eve playersGÇ¥ were really so l33t and carebears really were so, well, not l33t what are all you big tough guys so afraid of? Are not your teeth and nuts up for the challenge of a reprisal?
Also if this game is all about greifing why the hell do these GÇ£l33t greifersGÇ¥ complain so much about botters? Not fair? Too easy? Not much room for reprisal? Sounds hypocritical to me. At least bots can't PvP with any real cunning, so they are the perfect targets for ya.
Think about it guys. You want better PvP with less blobs and no caps. Highsec warfare should be the way to go. |

I personally want to see a revamp to such a degree that highsec becomes a bloodbath of corporate wars and bounty hunts. Nothing tells a nub, GÇ£This is a bad-ass game!GÇ¥ like racks of auto cannons, rail-guns, and missiles going off and all the shiny 'splosions going off all around a star gate. At least, that's how I got hooked.

This will make this thread useful to somebody:
Ingredients
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
8 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour to form a paste. Add water, white sugar and brown sugar, and bring to a boil. Reduce temperature and let simmer.
Place the bottom crust in your pan. Fill with apples, mounded slightly. Cover with a lattice work crust. Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust. Pour slowly so that it does not run off.
Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes, until apples are soft.

I do not pretend to understand baking in any fashion, but your post intrigues me. Would you not pour the sugar/butter mixture over the mounded apples instead of over the crust?
Edit: Oh I see, it's a lattice-work crust, so it flows down into the apples.
