Concord officers go on strike for more pay!
Law and order breaks down in Empire space.
Chaos ensues. Old scores and grudges are settled left right and centre. Ethnic tensions rise... full scale racial war is about to break out...
You jump into a system and four ships are waiting at the gate. An Amarr, a Caldari, a Gallente and a Minmatar. They all lock you. You only have time to shoot one... who would you choose?

Edited by: Mr Popov on 15/04/2004 13:46:55 I would Target jam the Gallante, Weapon disrupt the Amarr, Webbify the Minmitar, and Sensor dampen the Caldari. :)

Ok then, they lock onto an warpscramble you....
Oh and btw, I'd shoot the Amarr, unless the Minmatar was actually an Ammatar...

If they are warpscrambling me, I've already lost and can't inflict sufficient harm to down any of them (as there's four of them and one of me)..

Edited by: Makkar on 15/04/2004 14:11:19 I'd sit there and wait for the gate's (sovereignty controlled) sentry guns to go to work if anyone was actually stupid enough to fire on me. Then I'd pick through the wreckage once the screaming and the laughter had died down, and sell his tachyons.
If you don't want a pedantic answer, you should endeavour to get the question right.

Look at it this way, Hardin, in the unlikely event of CONCORD ever going on strike, I've just stopped you losing your Apoc.
Of course if it was me you were locking, it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference whether CONCORD were on strike or not.

Why would all these multiethnic players be working together to lock and destroy YOU?
A better senario would be you jump into a system and see an Amarr, a Caldari, a Gallete and a Minmatar unloading cruise missiles and 1400s at eachother. In which case, I would target the Amarr :)

Let me be the first to assure you, Mr Dirange, that this is nothing but insulting drivel! Ever-increasing numbers of Ni-Kunni are of the opinion that we need the Amarr like a long-limbed roe needs a planetary vehicle!
However, I grant you that Hardin here still has some way to go along his path of real enlightenment. He's spent far too long listening to Amarrian preachers fart and bellow about the superiority of the Amarrian race and the inferiority of all others, the Ni-Kunni included.
As children, we are conditioned to believe our ancestors were mindless dolts and that we're privileged that the Amarr deigned to allow us inside their precious kingdom, otherwise we'd still be scrabbling around in the dirt looking for bugs to eat.
As adults, we owe it to our ancestors to question this very convenient and highly suspicious version of history!

Who would I shoot?
a) Whichever the most generous one contracts me to shoot.
or
b) None of the Above. Just stand off and sell the loser his next ship.
or
C) The Amarr. The Minmatar just wants to be free. The Caldari just wants to kill the Gallente. The Gallente couldn't give a damn about any of the others, or me for that matter. The Amarr is the only one representing a self declared expansionist, imperial power, seeking to curtail the rights of others on the basis of some funnymentalist dogma.

Ahh, and you say the Minmatar stink of fear. I think I smell a din comming from your direction Kular!
Rest assured that if there were a Jove, even in a Wraith frigate he'd "smythe" you and your futile attempts to damage his ship.
Then I'm sure your corpse would end up in my laboritory where I'd have to examine your brain tissue to see what could possibly induce such a foolhardy action. ------------------------

I would just keep coming back and killing them one at a time till they were all nothing more than glittering pieces of debris and smoking chunks of flesh. Persistance will win more wars than brute force. Just check the History books.

I see, well if your father was in the Amarr fleet that challanged the Jove, then I can feel no sympahty for him. He should have known better then to challange the Jove! Looks like you've inherited his foolhardyness and as a result will perish due to ignorance.
A humble suggestion would be to stick to foes you have a chance at defeating, whilst the Jove and the staff here at the SoCT watch to figure out what causes such behaviour. ------------------------
