These cowards have no life it seems. They hang around, all day targeting innocent vessels and do not fire.. once. However, there is always an industrial hoarder hanging around with these groups.. so you figure our what they're acheiving. Anyway, their sec rating is currently dropping, they have only 3 members and obviously no life.

But of course the solution to keeping Empire safe for newcomers who don't know how things work is MORE CONCORD AND MORE SENTRIES!

FFS get rid of these stupid systems already or make "An Intro to Law Enforcement" part of the actual ingame tutorial, and the FIRST part. Like "This tutorial attack drone fired on you first - you must never fire first in civilized areas. (ship warps in, 'bad boys' starts playing) This is a Concord Sergeant. He will beat your ass back to pre-warp technology if you so much as fire a single Civilian Gatling shot at anyone no matter how much they deserve it. Your only escape from cowards and griefers is to join a strong corp or leave Empire space for the Alliances..."

You are in a maze of twisty little asteroids, all alike. |

As I said before
the law protectes the cowards (the people who take adavantage of it). There is a diffence between piracy and ganking, Death Dealers aren't true pirates.
Accidently shoot some one, your ship is dust. Respond to an obvious pirate and try to show them the ways of the law, bang your ship is dust.
Concord aren't corrupt... they're just plain dumb ---------------------------------

You have to admit, though, they're equal opportunity gankers.

Well, having some sort of tutorial would indeed be nice. I remember people always shooting what they shouldn't back in the noob corp. You think the insurance agent would at least hint towards some sort of law obeying info.
noob1784: Hey, does anyone know when I can undock again? Nathan Adler: You should be able to undock now, what's the problem? noob1784: I keep getting killed Nathan Adler: Well, did you do anything you shouldn't have? noob1784: I shot a cop. I didn't know I wasn't supposed to.

It seems the gate-ganker in question here was ganked by someone in his own corp for a sizable bounty earlier today. |

Well, right, so the bounty doesn't leave the corp. They probably split it. Yet another useless "tool" of law enforcement - i'd bet far more bounties go to pirate and their pals than to any actual pirate hunters

Sentry guns toasted me last night because my cruise hit another player (was not targeted). Lost a bit of isk even with insurance being an interceptor and some mods to the guy I was trying to hit it watched me warp in, fire of cruise and get slice and diced by the lovable sentries.
Concord are more of a threat than the person you are at war with. They need to reasses the rules of splash damage I think. In the crowded empire and some players ability to stay close to innocent bystanders as human shields negates my ability to use effective weapons on them.

Well concord's lgoc never got mereally
Sanctiond wars okay, even bu the gates.. accepted, though on a peace keep front utterly ridiculous. I rarely see a true peace keep stand by and let innocents get caught in the cross fire.
It's a matter of checks and balances. Consider CC apparantly can keep track of next to everything our CP's do and target, then surely they should be able discern civilian casualitie from a deliberate hit...
Of course I can quite imagine the game mechanics this would involve. Time for CC to accept, sometimes the innconcet do get caughtin the cross fired of thier officially scantioned and very lawful wars. ---------------------------------

Actually the bloke seemed pretty annoyed from what I was reading in the local channel. It wasn't planned.

No, Hax was taken out by Viceroy - who seemed to be a fairly formidable chap to me! He seemed to indicate he did it for a private bounty that someone had placed on Hax.

Youre so damn right.. just lost a typhoon this way. :waving at CVA: (you guys have a party on my costs)
did range tests with a dood in my own gang and a webber..
bad mistake
too close to sentries in 0.6 space.
and i was not even drunk.
aparrantly after playing since beta i am still to n00bish to remember all the things. well who said i am a genius..
however, this sucks.. it should be up to the 'opponent' to decide if beeing webbed for a second makes damage enough to be bombed back to jurrassic age by concord.
congrats ccp |
