I think it was one of the better shows on. For anyone that hasnt seen it, it was a show based on the premise that a bunch of nukes goes of in differant states in America. The shows is based in a town called Jericho and it basically revolves around the townspeople and the things that they have to go through in the aftermath. They obviously were not in a direct hit area.
Anyways I thought it was one of the best shows out there, it may have been a little to edgy for some. It was supposed to be canceled last year but an avalanche of people contacted CBS and petitioned them. So it was extended for another year. Well the same thing is happening this year. This time though people are now asking Sci Fi channel to pick it up.
So if you liked the show, or would be interested in seeing the show on Sci Fi which season one has been running, go here to sign the online petition. Save Jericho petition

Watched them all over the last week or so and have to say that its a shame its been cancelled. The last episode seemed very rushed trying to get some sort of conclusion.

So nukes go off and it's in the aftermath? Haven't heard of this show before but I will take a look.
Is it like that game where the US breaks into different succesor states with Russia and the EU annexing anything they can lay their hands on?....

Hmm Ive never played that game I think. But the show takes place in the aftermath. What life is like etc. There is a sort of civil war going on between the Eastern and Western states with Texas trying to decide who to join. The western states government blames North Korea and Iran for nuking the US, but its not as it seems..thats all I say about that!
It was just a really good original show that didnt catch on in the maintstream for some reason. Im guessing it might have just been a little to close to home for some? I dunno

The second season wasn't the same writers.
Somehow because of the writer's strike they'd already been contracted to do something else. EVE RELATED CONTENT |
