Quote: This is something I quickly put together, to match ur set up, it only has 93k eHP. I personally dont fit rigs that are more then 5m each. Judging by your set up, you prolly fit the shield extender rigs which are more then 10m each.
This set up is only effective if you have 2-3 other ravens with the same exact set up or a dedicated logistics ship that hopefully wont get jammed or blown up. You dont know what your talking about nor is your argument valid in this post.
An unimpressive fit. More fool you if you're not using the extender rigs - most people are perfectly happy to use ~12 mill rigs on BS - Trimarks are a roughly similar price, after all. I don't regard the scram as essential in gang, so you can fit another Inv II if you want, and in an organised gang you can have independent painter support anyway. The shield transfer array is nice, but remote armour reps are much easier to fit and likely to be more useful in the typical gang, where most people will be armour tanking.

right ok, this post isnt about a fleet set up raven of more then 10 battleships in the game. Your raven would get pwned in any small fleet battle. ------------- Remove sentries from low-sec.

the buffer fit has equivalent HP to a solo plate mega, with the added bonus that it slowly recharges, so I don't see the problem there, as the buffer mega works solo too.
How does this setup compare with what you know already?
6x siege t2 named mwd/injector, t2 xl booster/invul/em hard/disruptor t2 rcu/co-pro/bcu x2, IFFA 2x thermal resist rig, kin resist rig
needs a 3% cpu implant (slot 6) to fit, doesn't fit with 3x BCU and arby siege

My point is, i mean look at your set up. You require 1-2 low slots dedicated to pgu/cpu upgrade. All other ships require 0-1. Just find that unfair. And with the set up you just mentioned, ontop of the CPu/RCU, you need a implant to fit that set up you just gave.
Im trying to get a point out that we can't fit more then one slot of utility, wether it be mwd or warp dis, without if severly effecting our tank. Its just not smart to do and you will get pwned. Fitting 2 utility mods is just insane thing to do.
A raven is, ok, good in a fleet with large numbers. But whats that different from any other battleship out there?

well to take an example of an armageddon,
you cannot fit an MWD on without going for a plate fit, you cannot use the final utility slot,
if you fit highest tier guns which requires 2 fitting mods and a PG implant, it has 50-70 dps less (1 heatsink) than the raven, to achieve a tank comparable to that of the raven.

Bull. First off, a arma doesnt even need a mwd. T2 lasers can go 15-20km and swap to the long range ammo and it has a range of 70km.
Also, the arma can have a 1200 DPS and have 36k Armor as well as a large remote armor rep. ------------- Remove sentries from low-sec. Caldari ships with Kinetic +dmg sucks http://myeve.eve-online.com/ |

*whistles* geddon has 45km optimal with scorch (using MP II, good luck fitting them) geddon has 15km optimal with amarr navy multi (again with mp)
raven has 45km opt with javelins raven has 30km opt with faction torps.
Surely you're trolling. Raven is amazing.
