just a question that i've not been able to find the answer to. if you podkill a player in an npc corporation within 0.0, your standings toward that corporation take around 15% hit? |

Really? I didn't think aggression of any kind incurred penalties in 0.0.

Players in NPC corporations act a bit like NPCs themselves when it comes to aggression. As such, podding them will result in a standings penalty towards the NPC corporation they are in, regardless of the security level of the system the victim gets podded in.

As I understand it, that is how it works; 0.0 is only free of concord consequences. Aggression against NPC corp members will alter your standings against those NPC corps.

You cannot have a full and a trial account running at the same time. (unless you use 2 different computers, that is)

YES! For that matter keep everyone in an NPC corp limited to space that their parent Empire controls. Alt-scouts are just a way of someone saying "I'm too prissy to scout with my main and risk my officer fit nanoship" anyway. Please visit your user settings to re-enable images. |

I think NPC char shouldn't be able to enter 0.0, would eliminate a lot of this problem with NPC scouts. Please visit your user settings to re-enable images. |

Bingo! Right on. Besides how are people going to get into 0.0 if they can't go out there to scope it out in the 1st place.
When I was in n NPC corp I went to 0.0 a few times to just check it out. And talked to locals about what it's like and stuff. it is normal and gives you 0.0 locals some thing to shoot at anyways. *** |

Maybe he likes to avoid wars?
Then again, 0.0 space is controlled through wars and PvP. So really staying in NPC corps to avoid wars and conflict is kind of pointless even if you do plan to venture out to 0.0 space.

On that note... 2 million isk and a few minutes of training and anyone can have a 1-man corp alt scout.

It wouldn't stop people from using junk alts as scouts, they'd just be in a player corp instead. It certainly wouldn't force anyone to scout in a nicer ship.
Though it does seem crappy that you lose standings for killing them so maybe it would be a good thing.
