Move away. Rename all your ships so they don't contain your names (and then change those names periodically). Watch local for wartargets (don't afk when not docked).
As long as you don't have everybody in your corp use the same station as base (even worse, the station that is your corp HQ), looking for wartargets in highsec is literally a needle in a haystack situation.
I've mined, mission, rated, etc.. in wartime no problem. People only get blocked by wardecs if they put themselves in that position by being very predictable.

Have fun with it.
Get some rookie ships and some very cheap frigates (you can find ibis and velators just laying around for free in space and you also get them after getting podded of course). Slap on some cheap weapons, ECM, whatever.
Go out and have fun. Make them chase you all over the place as best as you can. Set up some safespots in your home system. Make them hunt you and when they catch you and kill you make sure they get nothing worth keeping.
Login, dock, and go watch a movie or something so they sit outside the station camping you while you aren't even playing.
You can either lose a bunch of ISK by having them steal it, or you can lose a bunch of ISK in lost productivity for the week by baiting and toying with them. The latter option sounds a lot more fun to me.
Changing corps or locations will only save you for another week or so. Eventually someone else WILL war dec your corp, so best get used to it now, have fun with it, and don't let it discourage you from the game.
Their goal is to blow up your ships and take your stuff.
Your goal is to prevent them from doing that AND to annoy the hell out of them in the process.

He .. I kinda like your whole message, and then read your signature afterwards :P
Anyways - If your not able to hand the situation yourself, hire some mercs who fly in your nearby system. They may not be cheap, if they are good, but the corps that decced you will get the message. Try look for some in C&P forum :)
But you better prepare yourself for atleast a week of war :) And yes, in EVE, war CAN be fun...

Well, if it's any consolation. Deccing a bunch of total newbies gives some insight on their purpose. War decs are pretty much pointless (imo) unless you can make ISK from them. And from what I'm hearing, they aren't. T1 Killmails and cries are fun, but they don't pay for new stuff.

Unless you have expensive and critical structures in space that needs protection, hireing mercs are usually not the best way forward.
It only secures your safetly for a brief time, and is easily avoidable for your wardeccers. Once you have run of of isk, mercs will be gone, and what then?
Id either fight them and use this as a chance to learn pvp, OR relocate to a friendly area. One option is a anti pirate area in low sec/0.0 were agressors like your wardeccers actually risk getting shot by other entites. |

Fighting them for a week would be fun, even if you lose.
Running from them for a week would not be.
Just take a break from industry and fight them. They aren't even big corps so chances are you won't even run into them that often. Most likely they will try to camp the areas around Jita waiting for you to move goods. My guess is that they are interested in the money, not the fight, so you deny them the money and they go away.
I am deccing Viakal for you and will see how much I can bother them. I hit the jackpot with an exploration site last night so I might even throw some bigger ships at them if I get a hankering.

I think you made someone mad. Smack talk is the usual culprit here. If you are not flying expensive ships then smack talking someone can bring a war dec very easily in this game.
Either learn to fight (I'd advise you to train up EW skills) or keep your mouths shut in local.

Fight. Staying docked you will achieve nothing. Get some ships you can afford to lose and give them hell. It's the only way to learn pvp.
You might also try to recruit 1 or 2 or more experienced players just for the duration of the war, so they help you with basic advices and tactics.
EDIT: so far noone wardecced my corp for my random smack there and there. Who can I smack to get a wardec? |

Its a shame to give up that easily. It really is. You shouldnt let them win, effectively they've won by doing that. Alas.
Gl to the new CEO. This kind of PvP is lame, so, all the best.

You either made them mad or they want your stuff.
In regards to the latter, high sec people make money all day, either with missions or trading. I dunno why people think they can fly around all day in freighters and/or CNRs and not think they're calling attention to themselves. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with making ISK, or what you do with your subscription fee, I'm just saying that this is a game of risk, even in high sec. If you have stuff, others will try to get it. The glory that is Eve.

The fact is that this war could of easily been avoided if members had some manners and had learnt from previous experiences. Hopefully this will further enforce this and members will finally learn from fights over ore cans and smack talk.
As for the corp disbanding for some members it was just the last in a line of mistakes and annoyances within the corp.

Your practical options is to either go ahead and get some combat ships and see if you can take them down a notch or too. Or pickup and move to another region of space and just don't give them targets for the week. Say if your up in forge then go over towards rens and work that side of the game for a few weeks. Most pirates wouldn't travel for there kills.

Alowishus is right about one thing.
"Fair" doesn't really exist in Eve. This is a lesson that few learn without been shown the cold emptiness of space, firsthand.
You either survive or you don't. I'm sure theres been hundreds of corps that have had similar experiences and disbanded. Although I don't like it, its just another part of life.

Can flipping? Yes, we do that... Pirate? Yes, we do that too... Contracts? Yes, that too...
To explain the situation, just to make sure everyone has a clear understanding, after roaming both low-sec and empire for jetcan miners/macros... we stumbled into the system you and your corp were mining in. Flipped a few cans, had some fun with you guys. After all, you, your corp, and the other alliance with you (NOVA i think... or something similar) were all very willing to fight. As I recall, on the field on your side that night there was 1x rook 2x raven 1x drake 1x stealh bomber and few other ships which I dont remember. You were more than willing to fight. After which some smack talk ensued. Now we'll admittedly engage in some friendly smacktalk if it's warranted and being done on both sides. Based on your groups willingness to fight we decided it was a good candidate for a 1 week war for some pew pew fun. Not having your full memberlist, it was unknown as to how new, old, or active your members were. After the 1st day of the war, we realized you weren't going to fight and decided why not make a profit if we can, and offered a randsom. After chatting with your CEO we decided it was going no where and decided to go on our way. Now you failed to mention in any of your posts quickshot, how durning the convo I had with your CEO(which you were a part of)I mentioned it was a possible exploit to disband the corp to avoid a war dec, assuming you reform after. You replied with, and I quote, "[ 2008.04.01 19:13:08 ] quickshot89 > no, its not, only reforming after a war is an exploit, so go suck a big fat donkey c*ck u tw*t"

There is a difference between venting your frustration and making a mess of things. Problem is that people are used to having no repercussions to their actions (from other MMO's). In EVE that's different. If you're being an ass/idiot about stuff you become a target, if you smack like hell you become a target. If you fly expensive ships without actually knowing how to use them you become a target.
Best thing you can do, imo, is to have a chat with those corps saying "oh well, I messed up, lets have some pewpew". Buy yourself 20 frigstes and DON'T put them all in the same station, just go out and take the fight to them even though you know you'll prolly get killed. The experience you get from that FAR outweighs the cost of those frigates.
If you do that you just might earn enough respect from your agressors for them to switch to somewhat more comparable ships to just have some pewpew fun, no guarantees on that one though.

They'll soon get bored if you keep surrendering and they have to keep dec'ing you and waiting the 24hr period again.....

Yes first off, delete membership that is a bit annoying or smacky in local. This can bite you and your corp in the ass, unless you can back it up.
Then just have some fun try to play with them and be nice and have chats with the guys that have dec'd you. Wars can be fun, if it lasts for too long, you can always drop corp and start over with trustworthy members.
Never do this though...

smack in local is the quickest way to a war dec.
when i was but 2 weeks in eve i smacked a nasty piwate type in local - and a wardec from biomass cartel followed a couple of days later .... lesson learnt

The wardecs only last a week, just ignore them stay safe watch local and dont die, war decs are expensive and they wont keep wardeccing you if they dont kill ya.

I love how people are still giving advice on a 2 and 1/2 month old thread. Even 1 guy after the OP poseted again saying that his old corp died already.
