It is very simple really.
1. Set your ship up with the biggest MW drive it can handle.
2. Go to your settings: (Press esc key)
3. Change the key combination that has your MW drive is set to, to an "F" key. I usually have my MW drive in the 1st middle slot and I change it to the F8 key as that key has a blank area to the right.
4. Start flying AFK to your location and set something heavy (but small) on top of your F8 key. (enough to compress the key)
You will then see some message repeating "You cannot do this function" but when you get to 15km away from jumpgate you will see your MW drive turn green briefly and your speed increase taking you to the jumpgate much more quickly.
Now if your in a tub that moves really slowly you are still going to move slow but just a bit faster. So you need to see look into putting things in your lows like Overdrive Injector System's and nanofibers to make your ship move quicker. And if you're still moving too slow look into a faster ship.

You need to catch most ships when they're aligning on the other side of the gate, not when they're approaching it ANYHOW so I don't see how this will let you AFK if your ship aligns slowly at all. I mean you might get by some people with WCS, but even then the could alpha you since they're fitted to kill you before concord if in empire, and if in losec they will brobly have a HIC. -- Distortion| Distortion 2 Preview |

I know your laughing.... but every time I've had someone try to kill me it has NOT been on the other side of the jump as there are usually too many targets and not enough time to scan/make the determination something of value is there and gank them.
All my experiences are of gankers scanning on the jump to the gate 15km away and then moving towards it.
If you can scan and lock on the other side... you can do that whether someone is afk or not.

I LOL. I love it that many of the people that are endorsing this thread are pirates.

why...
maybe its because MWD'ing still sucks on a hauler when webbed, but it makes your signature radius the same size as a small space station, and therefore easier to hit with slower tracking massive guns doing a hell of a lot more damage???

And anyway, with a sig of that size, hitting you would be like Fly Vs Oversized Brick round one.
