Hi all,
Due to an unscheduled server upgrade today our database has been reset back to the last archive period. This was on 15/03. However for some reason (still being investigated) that data was corrupt so we have had to roll back to 01/03. Unfortunately our API data only goes to 14/03 so this means we have no way to determine account deposits during this period.
We do apologise for this inconvenience and will be looking at ways to resolve this problem including collecting people's API data from those 15 days and manually adding deposits for those who contact us.
Apologies once more, Ricdic.

Some of the raw logs provided by our hosting company suggests that a certain individual tried to deposit a certain amount of cash which didn't fit into our standard 64-bit integer values. This supposedly caused a failure in the database software which caused to crash the database itself, corrupting the database at the same time, and BSOD the OS.
Due to the unforeseen shutdown of the server a RAID system failed and the recovery processes didn't run as scheduled.

Edited by: Priest Amarr on 01/04/2008 07:59:02 We, as Temple, deposited 10 ^ 65 isk at stated date. I am sad to hear it caused the problem. While you are trying to solve it we will cooperate with you as much as we can. We have got no recent plans of withdrawing the isk, if we can receive our 3.5% monthly interest that will be fine. Once your system is corrected and our deposit is verified please start donating all the isk we sent you to good people of Eve in alphabetic order.
Thank you for coming forward to share this technical problem with us. In the future we will limit our deposits to 10 ^ 64 isk at a time.

Hi sir.
I will set your savings account to 10^65.
Sadly any such wallet will automatically ban you from our system while internal affairs(In other news, IA of Ebank just opened today) investigate the transaction. Our system logs large movements of isk just like CCP does. We want to combat isk selling and whitevashing, thus, i will have to ban you.
Please get back to me

Providing a crappy ROI for your C-R-A investors must have taken all your time and you missed Shar's signature. That's understandable.
However for the first part you really shouldn't underestimated Ebank's policy to discredit any potentially successful IPO (less sound investments opportunities and more regulations to uphold means more potential money for crappy 3% ROI Ebank accounts) especially those that would undermine business run by your own (so called independent) directors. Affiliates like Selene D'Celeste (and many more - I suppose each have their own recycling op in some region) that's been conducting his multi-billion recycling op in Citadel for some time now and makes 500m a day (his own words) and for whom my own IPO must've been sufficient of a threat to determine someone that's highly regarded in these forums to share with us his feelings on how in the end I was going to scam everyone based on no evidence whatsoever. (I demand an apology for that Ricdic!)
Has anyone asked themselves why Ebank has so many directors? And why are they able to meet any withdrawal request in short time? At some point in time (and to a lesser extent now) these so called independent directors had their hands to the armpits in public money and they used the opportunity to launch their own private projects (mainly recycling L4 loot ops) while Ebank clients got only their regular 3% interest. The above allows those that should know better to threaten us as follows:

It would be best to ask Shar what I meant, your own comprehension might be faulty. That's it Ricdic, go and yell for help cause you sure have a lot of explaining to do and you're not up to the task. You only had the reputation and used that to obtain the funding.

Considering all of the above, Ebank should have been the bank that with the highest interest for its accounts. Any request for transparency is now long overdue.
First, Selene is not an affiliate, hes a director.
What leads you to believe the board of directors ISNT independent? Why shouldn't EBank have many directors? I mean, theres 9 director seats. If there was only 4 you would whine "omfg conspiracy". EBank is able to meet withdrawal requests in short time due to timezone differences. Im GMT+2, Ridic is aussietime, Hexxx is some weird US time and so is Selene.
From what i gather your claiming that Selene was funded by EBank. Do you really think that? As far as im aware Selene started his operation before EBank started, but i could be mistaken.

Absolutely!
Rest assured that EBANK employs only the fittest of hamsters. All hamsters are giving rigerous phsyical and mental exams; in fact, EBANK only accepts 3% of all hamster applications.
Our hamster wheels are engineered using the latest in nano-technology as well, advanced polymer lubricants ensure that wheels turn at an optimum rate of speed. We even have redudant hamster wheels in case of an unfortunate "hamster wheel termination event" (HWTE).
Should a HWTE occur, our backup hamster wheels are immiediately brought online, preventing total systemic EBANK failure.
In fact, we've even been training these same hamsters to record all EBANK transactions in a handsome and well designed paper form (paper can't experience a data corruption afterall) so that no EBANK data will ever be lost!
Rest assured, EBANK is working hard so you don't have to!

By prank you mean what exactly? You pulled no prank, you just exhibited your regular posting habits. I think that is the problem, you don't realize that no one here has any respect or trust in you, thus nothing you post is taken seriously in the first place. In a situation like that you can't pull a prank by acting in a stupid manner... because that is the norm, not the exception.

There's a character that appears to be trying to look like EBANK Ricdic (maybe an attempt to get free isk). If you search for EBANK you'll see it quite quickly. Lower case "L" and [ebamk] for ticket etc.
