How do you put up a sig pic on eve forums
ive got it linked
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Pictures\sig name here.bmp
as you see below all i got is the picture placement holder pic (or whatever it is)

First, convert that bmp to a jpg to reduce its file-size.
Second, c:\My Documents is not a place that's accessible from the internet. You need to upload your signature to some hosting place... www.imageshack.us, www.eve-files.com, or something similar.
Then, you put the link in your signature.
It won't work from My Documents. It's gotta be from www somewhere.

They are making fun of you, seriously.
The signature box on this site contains text. You can link to a picture, but that picture must be published to a web server on the internet to be visible. Imageshack or Photobucket, google for them, let you publish images for free.
Nothing on your computer should be visible to the internet (my documents or shared documents). If anything is, you should get Norton Internet Protection or some other firewall/antivirus to block it.
In any case, you need to change your picture to a jpg, bmp will make the file too big and you won't be allowed to use it on this site. And you need to upload the jpg to one of those two sites mentioned above, then link it from your signature box.

your signiture must be 400x120 pixels and 24,000 BYTES maximum. If it exceeds these limits it will be deleted when a forum mod notices it

i know some site let you upload your own avitar pic right from your PC (thats what im used to) i guess CCP got lazy
and 24,000 bytes = 24 KB right?

since the forum accounts are ingame charactars with avatars, that isnt really going to happen for eve
no, 24,000 bytes != 24KB, cos 1KB = 1024 bytes. its just over 23KB

Most sites allow avatars to be uploaded to the site itself, although that's not possible for EVE as the avatars are our ingame characters. However, I have yet to use a forum that allows me to upload a signature, which is what we're talking about here.
And your signature at the moment is too big. It's currently 25.41 kB (26018 bytes).
