Edited by: Merin Ryskin on 15/05/2008 01:57:17 Well, I suppose the rest of the alliance might be decent, but just remember: you're also hiring the legendary Justin146, master of empty slots and warp core stabs. You might want to take a look at his loss list, then add a few more for the ones he won't admit.
By the way, Justin146, post your losses. I know the Scorpion we blew up today was pathetic and embarassing, but you still need to post it. And let's not forget your pod I caught afk at the station.

As far as I know he's posted his mails but if he hasn't I'm sure you'll post on here to tell the whole world how rubbish Justin146 and our Alliance is!

He has NOT posted all his mails. These are just a couple that I've personally been involved with, I would assume there are others as well.
Scorpion: http://caritas.scire.getmyip.com/killboard/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=395 jumped into our gatecamp and died. Podded as well.
Pod: doesn't show up on the Caritas killboard, but I caught him afk on a station and podded him.
Our killboard shows several other losses that he has not posted: http://caritas.scire.getmyip.com/killboard/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=39125&view=losses
Now, your comments in general. I don't care about getting recognition on your killboards, I just want to point out what it says about your alliance:
1) You allow people like Justin146 to remain in your alliance, despite their incredibly poor performance. Any potential employers should question whether they are actually getting a competent PvP alliance for their 300 mil/week.
2) Your killboards are not an accurate reflection of your actual combat record. Who knows how many other losses have been left off the killboard and just not been noticed. For an alliance that claims to have accurate killboards and expects large paychecks based on this fact, this is pretty hillarious.
3) You do not have full alliance participation in your contracts. If Justin146 is allowed to stay out of contracts, who knows how many other members are as well. Your actual active player count should be assumed to be much lower than what your member totals suggest.
Now, you of course have a right to run your alliance as you wish. But I find these flaws amusing in an alliance that is demanding such absurdly high contract fees. You would think that someone who is demanding 300 mil per week plus kill bonuses to war dec a tiny corp would do a more professional job of running their alliance.

Quote: 1) You allow people like Justin146 to remain in your alliance, despite their incredibly poor performance. Any potential employers should question whether they are actually getting a competent PvP alliance for their 300 mil/week.
So Justin146 isnt an elite PvPer, ohnoes. His incredibly poor performance is 1 of the reasons I keep him around. He amuses me!
If said person was a true reflection of our performance as an alliance then surely we wouldnt have a myriad of replys stating what good jobs we have done for our employers who are happy to pay a premium for a premium service.
Quote: 2) Your killboards are not an accurate reflection of your actual combat record. Who knows how many other losses have been left off the killboard and just not been noticed. For an alliance that claims to have accurate killboards and expects large paychecks based on this fact, this is pretty hilarious.
I agree, this is funny. At this time no-one else has made a complaint about missing killmails apart from the guy who couldnt tell the difference between a corp killboard and an alliance killboard and when it comes to wartargets, if 1 of them tells us a mail is missing the individual is contacted and asked to post said mail.
As for our killboard not being an accurate reflection of our actual combat record your quite wrong. Justin146 acts mainly alone so is therefore not a reflection of our actual combat record. If you would like to try us out, dec us
Oh and we dont demand high paychecks based on our killboard, we demand high paychecks based on our clients objectives.
Quote: 3) You do not have full alliance participation in your contracts. If Justin146 is allowed to stay out of contracts, who knows how many other members are as well. Your actual active player count should be assumed to be much lower than what your member totals suggest.
Its a very rare thing to have 100% of your active players in your alliance in whatever gang is running at the time. Real life can make you do strange things, like being online but not actually at your keyboard
In summary. As this is such an issue for you and I'm such a nice guy why dont you evemail me the links to his losses that are missing and I will post them for you and the above 2 mails are posted.

Merin,
you obviously have a big axe to grind there for some reason - whatever that might be. I really don't care much for it. It is why your post was ignored for so long. I was right to imagine you were logging into C&P day after day to see if we responded. Whatever! The fact that we are getting attention from the usual people who like to pass comments on any little detail they can find shows we are doing something right.
I bet you write to your local bus company in coloured pens to complain about the state of the toilets and stuff. If you don't be careful because your on that path right now.
Now to your points (well some of them). It is our business who we have in our alliance. It is absolutely no concern of yours whatsoever. For your information I would rather have Justin in this alliance than some anal retentive killboard warrior. At least he is not too worried about losing a ship.
We are not anal to the extent that we expect everyone to always be on contract with us. Our participation rates are extremely high - usually only one or two people who are logged in at the time of our operations do not make it out. There are times when it is quiet of course and that is something we are working on.
You will find that when it comes to our contracts our records are as accurate as we can make them. However for sure there are always non-contract kills that slip through - we don't pretend to be perfect. I mean did we say in the OP that we were?
The killboard is not always how people judge a contract. To date we have satisfied all our customers and not one of them was interested in the effeciency stats. In fact if we were going to talk about effeciency and worry about that stat we would be crying since we have taken some substantial losses to serve the aims of past employers. Our killboard shows all potential employers that we will fight and take losses and we will not be afraid to do so, that speaks volumes about the good members of our alliance including Justin. Any attempt by killboard warriors to unhinge that simply fails.
In relation to our fees you are mistaken. We clearly state above:
"Charges start at 300 million per week plus war dec fees to engage a small corporation of around 20 to 30 members."
There is a paragraph break between that statement and the statement about killbonus fees. Thankfully most of our potential employers have seen the difference.
One final point Merin. You look a tad peeky - you need to get out more, we were thinking of setting you up on a blind date with Justin but we were not sure if you liked handcuffs and feather dusters....

I have fought Mournival on two occasions now. Firstly when the Maelstrom crew held the reins about a year ago, and more recently last week. We had a fantastic war, with some awesome fights. I made the war mutual but Mournival retracted on us.
Mournival, between contracts (as we're merc'ing too), how about we have a friendly war between our two alliances - a time for training and furthering our skills? We could happily make it mutual again, to keep the costs down...
Serious offer with respect to you,
Tiger.

Hi Tiger,
first of all a big thank you to you guys for the fun last week. I want to say that we had some internal issues towards the end of the week. You are right we have reformed since MMCREW left (we still wubs MMCREW ) and part of that reorganisation involves rotating leadersip of the alliance. Up til last week Kaminjosvig was leading and now leadership has changed to Taurus Inc as a corporation.
Anyway the change meant that we had no leadership for a few days which meant we had our first epic fail on a contract (not the Haunted House one which you know about). We had to retract the war with you because we wanted to focus on the second client's objectives but it was too litte to late and we paid them back their ISK rather than escalate the situation. This is the first and last time that we will not deliver - whatever the case we do pay back when things don't work out and clients can trust us to honour our commitments.
So we had to retract because we have another contract about to start that could run for some weeks. So sadly we are now tied up for some time.
I will bring your comments to the attention of the new leadership and hoepfully we can arrange a mutual war in the future.
Once more I am sorry we had to move on - it was fun.
