Jesus, Shad, why do all your posts have to be negative, smacktalking, and ignorant? Note how the OP wrote "PREDICTIONS?"

Shadarle needs to bash a few noobs a day in order to feel good, I thought everyone knew that. I for one got used to him being the way he is. If you weigh in his overall contribution you'll see that he's pretty useful to this community, in fact I would dare say irreplaceable.

Which is exactly why the post is worthless. The only predictions you will get are from people who don't know the market or from people who are already speculating and/or involved directly in the market, thus making their predictions more self-serving than helpful.
For example, if I wanted to I could have simply bought out the entire market and then posted here:
"Through extensive research into this, a lot of my contacts in the moon industry, and a few other sources I cannot reveal, the price is going to shoot up substantially in the near future. A lot of people are about to work together to triple the price, to do this they are going to start holding back all their produced units for a week and will pool their money to buy out the market. This will happen within 48 hours."
Instead I gave him an honest opinion, that opinion was that he shouldn't expect honest answers.

You really shouldn't expect everyone to be as egocentric as you Shadarle. Your petty excuse although doesn't make much sense will do fine though.
P.S. stop quoting me before I'm even done editing! Now my syntax sucks and I can't alter it!

Supply: Fixed and already at a maximum with intermittent interruptions thanks to war Demand: Steadily increasing with growth near patches
It seems the general trend will be for it to rise until T2 prices approach something along the lines of pre-invention values. Sure, most of that growth occurs in spurts during the shortages war brings or in anticipation of new content brought by patches but we are looking at serious longterm growth in prices.
I'm not going to publicly speculate on where it will stabilize with this spurt but I will say that I expect it to have reached 150k by the end of this year unless CCP does something.

Or, for example, if you wanted to buy a lot of minerals, you could have posted here:
"I am getting the impression, from my monitoring of many different markets, that minerals are about to crash really hard. The key market I am watching is the freighter market. Over the last few months prices have slowly been coming down, in that time trit prices went up... thus destroying the margins. Not only that but I am seeing large stockpiles build up in many places that used to have 2-3 at most. When people stop manufacturing freighters it will start having an effect on trit in particular. I have also noticed pricing edging down among most other T1 ships. Prices can't keep coming down without minerals taking a dive to compensate, so I am predicting a downturn in at least a few mineral markets."

You have my motivations wrong behind it, but it was indeed 100% intended to have an impact on the market. Why else would I have posted it?
When I make a post it is always intended to have an impact, though not always where you might think and not always a large one. Anyone who makes a post or says anything and doesn't want anyone to read it and draw something from it is wasting their own time. I don't think it's too shocking to think there is a reason everyone posts everything. Sometimes that reason is to draw a laugh from someone, sometimes it is to help a friend, sometimes it is to manipulate an entire market in EVE.

The supply you're thinking of is a small % in the global market. That supply was available a few weeks ago, and yet the markets were still climbing.

Even a dishonest answer is useful information. The smart people are going to think "Huh, wonder why Shadarle wanted me to think that?" while the dumb ones are handing over isk for a learning experience.

Debate is one thing. Asking other people for market manipulation advice is another thing.
If you are going to ask for something you should give something in return. A one line post deserves a worthless answer. If you want real discussion you should make a post that explains what is going on (from your viewpoint), where you think things are going and why you think they are going there. If you don't include some useful info then you're just asking for free money making advice and that will almost never yield worthwhile results.

It just touched 130k a few hours ago, but now its back down towards 100k and some of the buy orders (which were at 90k) are now gone, the highest buy is like 81k. It might be heading back down...who knows.

I think it's more like the people who buy from the sell orders are hoping it goes back down so aren't buying much at the new higher prices yet therefor some of the sellers are getting desperate so are willing to lower prices a bit to get the quick sale.
Buyers aren't willing to move their prices up because they a) always want to get it cheap as possible and b) are worried it may in fact correct back by 15-20k.
I bet it keeps going up.. possibly after a minor bump down to correct for this latest jump. But it's all guessing on my part.

From the jita activity people are either buying it and using it or buying it and hording it. Even when it was at 105k yesterday, and people were dropping large ammounts into the buy orders, not very many new sell orders were entering the market. Prices will continue to climb unless people start cashing out or stop doing reactions. If they stop doing reactions the prices will fall in the short term but then rebound as soon as they start buying again. Either way, prices are going to continue to climb (over time) until either supply increases or demand decreases.

Hypersynaptic Fibers and Fermionic Condensates are now selling for a slight loss due to the rise in price of Dysprosium. Either they'll have to go up soon, or Dysprosium will come back down in price. My bet is they go up.
