Today, BattleStars turns 4yrs Old.
It's been a tough road, lots of hills & valleys but we've managed not only to survive, but thrive & grow.
We've managed to make lots of friends & enemies in Eve & to all of you, thanks for the experiences, the good, the bad & the ugly.
In these years, we managed to trek all over the map, from the NVA,PA,CA,IMP,NCA to the Swarm.
We've enjoyed the many battles, the fleets to the 1v1's.
Shout Outs to old friends:
XirtamVotf - Some hate him,some love him but Eve wouldn't of been anything without him. Miss the old goat. (Jihad!)
Skelator - Good gansta friend. Long live the mob!
SirMole - For letting me know that GoonSwarm was dead. Oh and that you could shoot through POS shields. Uber! Also for allowing us to kill your Titan, that was fun.
Acks - for always being a good friend.
MixMaster - My orignal CEO from Infinicorp.
Space Invaders - For poping my pvp cherry.

It's fairly typical to me that this particular corp has been on the directly opposing side of ammo exchanges with us for the entire duration of its existence, yet is probably the single such longstanding enemy corp in Eve I haven't developed even the slightest thread of respect for.
Your continuing bitterness about the "passive targeter" episode of Xirtam paranoia is an apt illustration of this.

I'll give you 1, they have worked to their strengths largely..
GS arent good at direct PVP, but you've supplimented that with large numbers and lots of allies. The strategy has disadvantages obviously, but it has been occomplished well so far..
I dont know gs's leadership structure, but from the outside this doesnt look much to do with BTLS. They look more like one of the limpet corps that dont actually fight much. I will admit this is only from a brief scan of our killboard. I guess they are logistics or something.

Battle is part of the game, we're not supposed to like each other. I've had some good respectable 1v1's with a lot of BoB pilots, some I've lost, some I've won.
No doubt it's been a tough fight.
Flown with a couple of guys from RKK & Evol, way before you became BoB. Back in the old New Venal Alliance/Pheonix days. Then when Evol showed it's true colors & RKK broke off to join up with them. Lots of excitement back then.
Say Hello to DB Preacher for me - respects, but hope to kill you on the Battlefield someday.
