It is with great sadness and a little wet-panted excitement that I'm here to announce that the Abyss Alliance and Abyss Corporation in its current form (a fairly rubbish 10-man antipirate outfit) will be closing its doors.
Over the last couple of years we've built up lots of friends as the Abyss Corporation and destroyed several billion ISK of ships (mostly my own!), even aquaired the funds to start an alliance for fun 6 months ago, but due to th lack of energy and time available these days we've been coasting by pretty much as solo players and logging in has become more of a skill changing exercise than the fun experience it should be...
I'd like to say some thanks to CVA, Paxton and friends for putting up with us in their space for so long - their leadership even let us plonk towers about their space fattening our wallets, even though we'd have had no chance defending them without CVA support if they had ever been attacked. Oh, except I forgot Triumvirate nicked one after we offlined it...Meh - Yah boo sucks to Triumvirate! 
Everyone else who knows me, now's the time to come tell me you want a 40M skillpoint 'Gallente-only, ship-loss-specialist and industrial-liability' in your corp...
In an attempt to recoup some cash I've also decided to Auction the lovely alliance name and logo off to the highest bidder. Nothing would make me happier than to see this alliance achieve more than I could in my time leading it (hehe, ship kills, some members and an income would be a enough!  )

And to anyone with RED standings to ABVSS - Fools! You were wasting your standings slots!
All that remains is to say I hope the forum trolls and evil-dooers gorge well on the feast that is a fallen alliance! We always claimed to be rubbish anyway!

Wow Vyktor... that is sad news...
Have you thought about formally joining the Amarrian cause?
After spending two years hanging out with us in Providence I am sure a number of CVA CEOs would be more than happy to employ someone with your talents!

I'm considering it mate, though if I did I'd have to be allowed to shoot you for supporting the wrong team from Merseyside! After so long in Providence though I'm kind of ready to see some more of 0.0.
And, yeah Bubba - I blame Brifire and Rakurai too! If she'd never left we'd have been fine!

If I do leave Providence it'll be hard leaving such awesome peoples as yourselves.
I've got a bit of thinking to do as to what I do for my next move.
I know people didn't possibly know Daqinson so well as me, but I think he's the reason we lasted so long. Daq's quite simply the most genuine, fun and friendly guy I've had the pleasure to meet through Eve. I wish him all the best too in his future o7.
I better stop posting now or all this emotion is in danger of making me bid in my own alliance auction...
