Hi All,
Well i guess the question is simple -
## Can a freighter put a unpackaged ship into its cargo hold? ##
This is my alt and it can finally use a freighter but i am not going to pay just over a billion for a freighter if i cant transport my rigged ships to new areas..
Thanks

I don't think you can put unpackaged ships into cargoholds even if it fits. :( ---- In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Addams |

Maybe, I don't know. But the question so directly asked was "## Can a freighter put an unpackaged ship into its cargo hold? ##"
If you courier it then maybe, but in direct answer to the question, no. You cannot place an unpackaged ship into it's cargohold.

I just tried it. You can't put even an unpackaged shuttle into a cargo bay. You can, however, set up a courier contract for the unpacked shuttle and then you can put it in the cargo bay.
I also tried to set up a courier contract on a rigged Viator and got this:
Quote:
This Courier contract exceeds the maximum volume requirement. The volume of the items you have entered is 190,000.0 m^3 but the maximum amount you can put in a Courier contract is 120,000.0 m^3.
