Shadarle LI0NS Industries	Posted - 2008.04.03 19:52:00 - [1] I'm just posting to let people know I will be conducting some pretty massive market manipulation with the money I've saved up the past month. It will be quite a bit larger than any manipulation I've done in the past and will span multiple markets. Just wanted to post this as I know such threads are loved around here. I figure it will be fun to see what effect it has as well. If anyone wishes to join a manipulation in progress you're free to... I can't guarantee I will give you any inside information about how much I am buying or when I plan to sell or at what a mount. I'd suggest if you're interested you watch the market closely and jump into a manipulation quickly... as once I start it will be a crazy ride. For those wondering, I think this will be a fun way to get the community to help me manipulate some prices... plus it will be a game for me to see if I can out manipulate the community or not. I personally think I can make an even larger profit if everyone here jumps in, thus the reason I'm posting. But if no one else does or if people try to sabotage the manipulation then I am prepared for that as well. The only hints I'll give is that I will not be manipulating T1 items in any shape or form, if you see that it is not me.

I've wanted to open a few new operations up and need several thousand dirty minmatar slaves to do all th work. But slave prices are higher than I'd like. I think they call that stalking..... I'm a trader...........I monitor the markets I may not have the isk to act on everything I see but I can still monitor

This is a game for me, I want to see what I can get away with manipulating and what people catch me on... and if they catch me if it helps or hurts me. It's more of a market experiment than a money making scheme. I need more data before I launch the IPO I talked about a while back. I have not felt comfortable launching it until I can offer some pretty good assurances it will work out well. Plus I'm having fun playing around with small bits of money (billions) and am ready to bump it up to the 10's of billions. But in the future I'd like to do some in the 100's of billions. If you send me eve-mail after I've started a manipulation there is a chance I'll confirm it is me or not... but that is as far as I'll go. I do not have time for chatting though, so I will likely deny convo requests.

Ricdic's point was that others would be attributing manipulations to me when they might not be mine. He is probably right, some will mistakenly do so, but that is not my concern. It makes it more fun for me to know I have a bunch of people trying to catch me. The most important aspect to me is the time it takes to get caught and just how much of a manipulation it takes to get caught.

It wasn't even worth mentioning that. I think he plays with materials. It can be either processed ones or advanced ones. Recent changes on the market indicate that more likely someone is playing with processed materials. These are my guesses it's risky, but it is a natural trend in rising prices of everything that deals with dysprosium. Thus it may help. A wise manipulator has to ride a wave which goes up anyways.
