I've read about small recon duos really reeking havoc in low and 0.0 sec. This got me thinking which recons complement each other well to form a great pillaging pair?
Just on paper here are a couple I think could work well.
Rapier and Pilgram: I've heard these two can be nasty working together.
Rapier and Arazu: Damps, webs, range, and drones seem like it could be a natural fit.
What are your thoughts or what pair would you choose to be a great mini gank squad?

Falcon and Rapier...DPS would be somewhat low, but they can kill any target they choose to and run when they feel the need.

I agree with Falcon and Rapier, that'd be my choice for only two.

Doubt you'd have the DPS to break a good tank in a reasonable amount of time, ntm a good passive shield tank.
To the OP, Rapier + Curse works pretty well. I'd imagine a Arazu + Curse would be good also.

Before gallente recons were nerfed I use to fly arazu on main
and rapier on alt. That made for a pretty good combo capable
of taking out several ships at a time, of course not just ANY ships.
Both ships being cloaked was fun sneaking up to folk and ruining their
day. Damage was pitiful though and depending on your foe it could take quite
a long time to kill them.
Would not advise that combo any more as damps are really broken for the above
type of pvp.
Personally now It be more fun to use a rapier or hugin and curse combo as pretty
much anything would be screwed meeting those 2. All still dependant on quantity
or type of foe of course.
Webbed then nos/neuted and tackled, the only thing you might have
to worry about is your foes drones, but as most setups seem to be
nano, heavy drones would not be a problem and meds could quickly be destroyed.
Don't like caldari recons they bore me some what, all that 200km click on click
off ***ness makes Bod a dull boy, that and their a ***** to use when controlling
2 accounts.

all the recons are nasty in a pair...
the falcon is the current "i win" button, but I personally wouldn't select it in a dual recon gang versus any one target. If you need the ability to gtfo against multiple targets it would be a wise choice, but against any single target, I would use a gal recon to tackle and disable lock, and an amarr recon to kill it.
But again, any combination of recons against a single target is nasty. Many of the recons alone can do the job.

Falcons are hardly an "I win" button. Their damage output is pitiful. Many different ships are capable of defeating a falcon. Even with the RSD effectiveness being reduced I'd still take an arazu with its 20% range to Warp disruptor range per level. Pair that with a rapier and there isn't much that is gonna get away from you and you can dictate the range of the fight. Blaster boats and ships with heavy neuts need to be wary of the arazu

Don't need dps when enemy has no cap xD
Only thing they couldn't kill would be passive tanked gheyness.

This would be my preference...EWAR drones and probe launcher on Rapier. Having the Rapier also means the Pilgrim is free to drop the webber for something else...and of course it gets to handle the DPS chores. And killing tank via cap suckage.
Rapier/Curse is equally nice....but the Curse doesn't cloak.
Falcon is more gang support and with no drone bay it's firepower is negligible.

I'd go with falcon+pilgrim, pilgrim actually does some damage, and will really make killing ratters go quicker. Falcon of course because ECM is stupidly broken.
