Just so I know, these stories are entirely fiction, right? Since AURORA was disbanded, these plentiful news stories aren't of events that are actually occuring, are they?

Our news teams are indeed doing an awesome job right now  It's always good to get feedback, both because it makes it easier to gauge how well things are being received and understood, and because good writers are always looking for praise and criticism  It's been really interesting and rewarding to read all the player-driven discussions about recent events - every time we push a new piece out I go running to the forums to see if there are any responses to it

Well, most events in the news-articles aren't actually in space, but it's all a bit vague, I don't think Mercury will do as much ingame events as AURORA, but I think there's still possibility you'll see actors in space every now and then, CCP probably intentionally stays quiet on this. And they're writing about "player-made" stuff as well of course, so it surely isn't entirely fiction. I also got the feeling a lot of the articles are a build-up to war, in which we'll all be able to play our part.

I like the recent articles too. The ones from about 3 month ago with the interviews of people no one knows or care about were a bit weak. Not the Alliance tournament npc stories. Those were good. I mean the ones before that.
But, can someone tell/show me what exactly a Fedo is? The image I have in my head is something like a tribble that smells.

I agree. You know you don't have to log in to read the news articles, right? There are RSS feeds and I subscribe to them all. :)
