So I want to get into smuggling. in particular drugs. I don't care so much about profit as I do fun/RP.
1. I hear Concord scans your cargo bay and will attack you if you have illegal goods. Is this true? Are there any similar risks?
2.When I started, about 2 months ago or so, I thought I saw an item that jammed cargo scanners. Now that I want one, I can't find one, and to top that off people have been ttelling me they don't exist. I may have seen something else. Are there any tools for blocking cargo scans? or any techniques to keep yourself safe from concord?
3. I want to remain good (possitive Concord standing as well as other corps). Is this possible if I get missions from "bad" corps?
4. I was thinking of working for the Syndicate. Are there any other/better recomendations?

Its a planned feature that will come into play.

I believe the "Black Market Trading" Skill reduces the risk of CONCORD or other Cargo Scanners detecting contraband...
If its implemented 
Currently its a pointless and Creation only Skill  A thought... are ANY of the "Trade Group" Skills buyable yet?
Looks like my Minmatar zippy smuggling type will have to wait and mine to pass the time

Nope, never seen those on the market yet... besides, as I understand it, none of them actually work... yet(tm)

Actually there is one thing you can do now if you want to be a smuggler, and that is to get an agent with one of the major pirate factions (serpentis, guristas, blood raiders, or sanshas) and do a lot of missions. You will probably have to cut a deal with a major alliance to make it work, with the possible exception of I think venal, where the guristas are, thats supposedly a war zone, but open.
Once you have an agent, develop some really high standings with them, around 8 or 9, get the best lvl 3 agent you can and you will be quite well off and ready when smuggling becomes a viable option.

That's the "easy" part get criminal connection skill and yr faction with them should rise some so that u'll have atleast some lvl1 agent... unless u hunted to much.... but like said bfr in this post get ready to go offsie to 0.0 space |
