Just out of curiosity here: How many of you liked the old Pre-Castor NPC's better then the ones we have now? |

Edited by: Hakera on 18/04/2004 09:19:52 Too easy, too easy to kill, too easy to chain (although they could have left the chaining part in)
Back many months before the Curse Alliance when I lived in Curse, I used to chain 5*depredators or 3-4*predators in my stabber, just equipped an explosive or thermal hardner (back at their old resistance) and could go afk or ctd (happened a lot back then) and not be in any real danger aside from when the occasional player pirate turned up.
Those were good times!
The gigantic roids, the lack of rare ores in any belt...the search for the 650 scouts!

yeah me too, they rocked after castor. Actually a challenge and made the game far more realistic. Doesnt make sense that the NPC factions would allow their ships chained.
Oh well, the great cry of the carebear whiners are to blame for another crappy change. Hopefully CCP will have some guts with these new changes in the work and go ahead with them.

Hehe, you liked having 25 ships in one belt? Some of us have to go to work. Can't wait around for 8 corpies to come online, come to the same system, get their set-ups on, take a smoke break, go get some coffee, and then get ready to go in battleships to go kill some rats.

i could chain battleships solo.. i remember having killed some seprentis battleships and getting 4-5 1600mm platings witch i sold for 5mil each(the standard ones) and couldent understand why the guy i sold them to thought i sold them cheaply because they was so easy to get
+ i actually had a corp m8 chaining cruisers in a megathron with blasters

Well, with Serpentis it doesn't really matter that much how many ships you have in a spawn because you can mostly pick them off one by one - unless you have many Megathrons, Initiates or Sentries in the spawn. Should be harder for the other NPC factions though. 20 Guristas in a spawn would be nasty. :)
