Jita is Jita - if you want to go there, expect lag and gankage. It has its own node that will reject any attempt to access it if a certain amount of activity in the system is exceeded. You then have to contact a GM via a 'stuck' petition to get moved to a location where you can commence playing. This can take between 5-10 minutes, depending on the queue. This manual system was chosen to remove afk players from the general server load and to actively remind people to first check the star map for the amount of activity in Jita before attempting to go there.
