Flipped a can, over the course of 20 minutes everything escalated until both our corps were duking it out, we lost 1 frig, and they lost a cruiser, 2 battlecruisers, and a battleship.

I like to clean up wrecks in high sec space with a little frigate (in this case an Atron) while waiting for someone in my corp to find something to shoot at. Since I'm often stealing from wrecks it also tends to lead to pew pew which is a good thing.
Last night I was out doing this when the owner of said wreck came into the belt I was at in an attack frigate. Now I had a cargo hold full of some fairly cheap minerals and other loot I had taken so I warped off. He calls me a name more appropriate for female genitalia but I assure him I'm coming right back. I dock at station, sell my loot, thus more then paying for my crapy little frigate + fittings then warp back to duke it out. The attack frigate was somewhat mystified as to why I was there. He thought I was changing ships and that I would be bringing back a thorax with me.
I start my orbit and I'm doing quite well with an AB loaded (almost 1k in a tight circle). I don't believe I'm going to win but I thought I would at least make an accounting of myself. But I don't have kill rights so I have to wait for him to fire the first shot. Sadly he was much smarter then me and guns it straight for the asteroids in the belt. I didn't even realize what he was doing till we were on top of them. I tried to disengage but thats when he started his warp jammer. I died very shortly after that.
Not to be discouraged I set-out to ram his ship with my pod! I told him what I was about but was obviously frightened by my determination because he warped away after that.
Not exactly a professional can-flipper but I decided to share anyway.

Tonight, I decided to try a bit of can-flipping, on my poorly trained Griefer. The only mods that make his setup incomplete, are the 3 most important ones. Nos, Weber and Scram. He can not yet use these. But I wasnt gonna let this stop me. I needed a break from mining, so I went out to annoy some Miners (I know.. Hypocritical!).
So I undocked from the starting dock in Ammold. I warped to Isendeldik (0.9) stargate, jumped through and started hunting some miners! I warped to a Planet, and scanned down a Retriever, and a Cargo Container (I guess it was his). So I warped in, BM'd the can. Warped out. Warped to the can. flipped his 30k Veldspar (which I assume he was quite upset about ). I targetted and orbitted the Retriever, in an attempt to wind him up. He sent his drones after me, they wasn't doing much damage (he only had 2), so I ignored them, and opened up my 2 200m AC's and my Rocket Launcher I on him. I got him halfway into structure. He scooped his drones, and warped to the station.
I don't understand why this Retriever Pilot thought he could take a PVP-fitted Rifter with 2 light drones. I just wish I had my scram
Ah well. All good fun, I'm sure I'll meet plenty more like him!

My first taste of blood!!! Yarrrr!!!
Okay, so I was can-flipping in a 1.0 system. I flipped a can, the owner was in a procurer. I saw him align to the dock, and warp off. So I sat next to my newly-made can and waited, to see if he would return. And he did. He comes back in a Destroyer.. Now I wasn't too sure how this would pan out. I was in a Rifter, he's in a Caldarian Destroyer (Can't remember it's name.. ). I started orbitting the Destroyer, and he targetted me. So I targetted him back, and then he began flashing red. . I returned fire hitting F1, F2, F3 and F4. It took me a while to get him into armour. But once he was in armour, he was toast.. I popped his Destroyer. Looted to gear, and docked. Posted kill-mail on eve-kills.net and worked otu I had just destroyed 1.3m ! Yarrr!! Not bad for a first time effort!
However. About 2 hr's later, I was AutoPiloting through low-sec (I know... Stupid.. I deserve what comes next!). I was popped by 3 BS's... In Rancer. Mehh...

I found 2 low sec systems right in the middle of Gallente hi-sec. I fitted up a Tristan and went hunting in the belts. I found a guy in a destroyer who was jetcan mining. Whenever I approached him he would warp off. I eventually got smart and bookmarked his can, went to a safespot, and waited for him to come back to the belt.
Soon as he showed up on directional scan I warped to his can which put me right at 2k from him. I scrammed and webbed him, fired up the cannons, sent in the drone, ordered my ship to orbit, and waited for my first killmail.
Unfortunately I had forgotten about the asteroids, so I was bouncing off of one, going nowhere, reducing my transversal to zero. My shields vanished and my armor was going fast. I warped out with 35% structure and wound up donating a Hobgoblin I to my "victim".

Try moving to a different system. I find 0.9 is good, since month old miners who think their half-fitted frig could take a wk-old char. Maybe the residents there are friends or something. LOL, nah its not that i like the challenge, im not a new player, just returned to EVE recently. But after losing 4 t2 fitted rax's to HIC ganks, its rather annoying =D. But then servers me right for attempting to solo in a rather populated yarring system, with no support =).

Kill 2!
So I was scanning belts, and searching for a lone, defenceless miner's can to flip. I found a Retriever, sitting next to can named 19.25 (Which indicates this can had been out for over half an hour... LOTS OF ORE!! ). So I BM'd the can. Warped to the nearest Planet. Warped to the can, and flipped the ore. The Miner sent me some foreign mail, which turns out to be German for "Dont do that. Im gonna kill you!" So I chuckled IRL, and sat next to the can, as I saw him align to the dock, and dock up. I waited around 2 or 3 minutes, and in warps the same char. He was still in his Retriever, so I assumed he wasn't gonna bite.. So Im about to dock up, and I see 4 light drones fly toward me, and the Retriever flash red. Yarr!! He has initiated combat! Orbit, target, hit F1 to F4. Scrammed and webbed.
About 30 seconds later - POP goes the Retriever. Poor miner. 5 months old, and still doesnt know to not attacking thieves. Someone had to teach him his lesson. It seems I was the man who had to !

It seems I underestimated my opponent... I saw a Hulk and a Mammoth sitting next to a can with 10k veld in. Looked suspiscious, but I thought I'd give it a go.. Afterall.. 500k to lose, and I could kill a 100m ship here... So I flip the can. All of a sudden 5 T2 Hammerheads fly around me, taking my shields below 50%. I am not a coward. I knew I was going to lose. But I didnt run. As I got into armor, I had finished locking and I hit F1 to F4. Scrammed and webbed him.By this point, I was almost in structure, and had my small armor repairer on (Yeah.. pretty much useless!! lol!) I started targetting his drones, about to hit 1, and I got popped.
All in all. I learnt 2 lessons:
1) Dont underestimate Hulks. Especially not when flying a 500k-worth of ISK Frig. 2) I think, when I get my Cruiser, I should buy some HammerHead II's
Was all good fun. Now to fit another Rifter. But now, I'ma try a bit of low sec.. See if theres any targets now.

My first time can flipping me and my buddy found a belt with like 6 miners in - we took all their stuff so they brought an iteron to pick it all up, it took from our can so we popped it infront of these 6 guys. They were all half pvp fitted so I think 2 of them shot at us, we were both in destroyers (Thrasher & Catalyst) so we kicked the guys ass' who attacked us and the others just carried on mining. My friend logged and another friend came on so as he was on his way to me a vexor warps in and locks me - at the time I had auto lockback on so I had targeted the vexor without realising. Next a velator warps in and steals from the can, I lock, turn on my scram and... Oh snap! Concorded. They laughed and smacked in local so we went back there after and racked up 3 destroyers, 2 vexors a thorax and 2 industrials. Since that experience I go can flipping whenever im not flying around low sec.

The other night I took out Combat Cook. Its my elite pvp fit probe. With 2x 150s web/scram, 200T/srepper, and 2x lame arse ecm drones. I went hunting 4am amamake style, afk at a safe formwhhoring waiting for anything to scan. Lucky for me a scythe comes on scan and I noticed the name is something like Timmy's Scythe so I'm already giggling.
I approach the best mining spot in EvE 3-1 amamake and there he is killing of some token frig rat. I jump on him drones a flying, ac's a go go, its on. What I found was the guy had some sort of multi tank with acs and missles a flying. Fight is close as hell he's railing into me I'm about to drop armor then I get some jams off I get alittle extra time, this happens in three cycles. Boom its over he finally goes down and I snag his pod. Of course my ransom demand of 1mil isk was to much for him to handle so he got pod'd. As he dies a rifter comes into belt.
Pew Pew the cycle is repeated rifter is getting fustrated so finally targets my ecm drones while I'm not paying attention. Damn I lost em in secs I explode annoucing GF I dock. Talk with the rifter pilot for a sec and log. Ended up tanking like 3,500 dmg in the super beast.
Moral of this wonderful story is ECM drones are ***.

Nice stories. Keep em coming.
Now, I have a bit of a stupid suicidal story. I was just out in low sec with 3 of my friends. 3 of us in Rifters, and one of my mates in a Megathron. We scanned down 3 pies from the same corp.. In an inty, a Wolf and a BS. One of the Rifters got caught in an Asteroid Belt, and was being blown to shreds. So I announced I was warping to him. The others didnt. I new I was going to die. But I was going down with style! I went out to low sec expecting to die.. Why not do it to 3 good ships. So I was popped, not long after entering the belt. Then, they locked my pod, got me pinned down. Convo'd me.. I knew straight away this was to ask for a ransom price. I accepted the convo, give a wave, and then my pod is popped. Must have been time-wasting.. Lol. I had no implants anyway, so I'da just declined the ransom.
Ah well.. 3 deaths - 2 kills ... DW people. I wont be at a minus for long !
