As many of you know PIE does not focus solely on terrorists.
Our role of Guardians of the Amarr Empire also means that we do also combat threats other than rogue Minmatar and their misguided allies.
Last night a PIE force conducted an anti-pirate patrol on the borders of the Amarr Empire searching for those evil pilots who prey on legitimate traders.
A brave PIE pilot enticed a pirate Scorpion into a trap from which he could not escape... The following camera shots should be a warning to all pirates who ply their business in Amarr space...

That looks very impressive but, i see no names, i see no indication whatsoever that indicates this fellow was, as you put it, a "misguided ally".
I, or for that matter, anyone could put a link to these camera shots and declare that the pilot was a enemy of their corp.
Name?, system?, reasons?, who was involved?
Scara.

Scaramouche we set out on a dedicated anti-pirate patrol heading for systems pirates were known to frequent, either in the Amarr Empire or on the very borders of it.
A PIE pilot jumped into one of these systems and was immediately engaged by a pirate Scorpion with no warning...
As soon as the enemy initiated agression a number of other PIE frigates jumped in and immediately scrambled and webified the pirate.
The main PIE battlefleet followed up and reduced the nefarious character to space dust in under a minute.
Beyond that I will not provide more details for the Minmatar intel network Scaramouche.
You will just have to take my word that it happened as described above and in the pictures...

Ashe you are really losing it today!
At no time have I said the pirate was a friend of the Minmatar. In fact I make a clear distinction between the two.
This GalNet post was simply to show that we guard the Amarr Empire from ALL enemies whether Minmatar terrorist or evil pirates...

After Scara and Ashe's posts I looked back at what I wrote originally. It seems maybe the above para was not clear enough so I have tweaked it slightly... Hopefully the Minmatars can understand it now!

PIE Inc exists to protect the interests of legitimate Amarrian business people undertaking their legally sanctioned trade in all manner of items and livestoock. Pirates pose a considerable nuisance in this regard and where they do, we try to take action.
What this means is that our time and attention is not soley given to tackling the threat posed by those Minmatar terrorists arrogant enough to believe that their vain and pathetic attempts at stealing Amarrian property warrents all of our time.

For all interested the name of the villian terminated last night is Dark reaper64 a member of the Novo Exorsus corp and the incident took place in r3-k7k , the fight was short and onesided the fool decided to open fire with torpedoes on one of our frigate scouts , our fleet descended on him and let loose purifying justice on this subhuman.

Ahhh yes, I remember him
Had a run in with him at Yulai gate. Targeted me, then ran turn coat when a fleet of Minmatar BS and Cruisers came in behind me.
I was rather surprised, as it wasn't me who called them. Guess he didn't want to get caught in the middle of a corp war.
Wasn't he pulsating some kind of wierd pulse from his vessel yesterday?

I must say, although my views differ from yours, I recognize you are fighting for what you feel is right. It's a moot point pointing out our idealistic differences, so I will leave that be, and get to my point:
That I commend you for your actions on that day.
Nice work, and from the looks of it, you must have caught him rather much off-guard.
Perhaps one day both sides of the conflict will be seen hunting pirates together?
Unlikely, I know...But it's a nice thought.

Though PIE is my enemy, I detest pirate a thousand times more, I respect PIE, pirates deserve no respect.

pirates benefit neither the minmatar or the amarr, they are a common annoyance to all citizens of eve and any empire or alliance in existence.
Well done Pie, I am glad to see that Ammarians are taking initiative and hope to see more of that style of anti-pirate warfare in the Caldari regions...merely because of my personal attachment to my homeland.
Here is to hoping that my race follows your example, in the areas of anti-pirating only of course
