If I do start this corp I'm planning, I don't think my corp and I will be suited for mercenary work, and we're mostly going to be doing hi-sec wars for fun and maybe get a little isk in the process. I'm not sure how we'd go about picking targets though, does anyone have any experience in this? ---- In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Addams |

If I was to make a remark about your wife/girlfriend/mother being slightly obese that would usually lead to a wardec.
Or if I told you that your shoes made you look like a clown and your mother dresses you funny, that may also attract a wardec.
If you have some mates who have been playing for the same amount of time and also run a corp, why not setup a mutual war for a laugh. These types or wars inevitably lead to you both working together and forming an alliance afterwards. Or dec a corp that have members worth poaching or you feel would beneift from a merger after you beat them up? The choice is endless.

Find a mission running / market hub and get on the main station. Sit at the main station and look for suitable targets undocking, preferably in small enough corporations. If the corporation HQ / offices are located somewhere near, even better. In general just spend time flying around a few nearby systems to get a good idea of what kind of a player base there is.
When you find a nice little corporation, its a good practise to set them negative standings even before you wardec them. This way you can easily track them through nearby systems and maybe get some valuable intel on them before the wardec starts.
It doesn't really have to be more elaborate than that.

Since I can't tell what you're thinking, me telling you that I'm telling what you think I'm telling is kinda difficult.
I think.
But if you're talking about a certain smacking mission runner then you might just be right.

Could it be Marshal Buckov? (Had to search for it, because his name eluded me.) Please tell me it's him.

What I was gonna say. Also try looking here . Miners may be easier to get but a nice juicy mission-running corp will probably give you some nice loot, if you can get them.
