Anything new CCP? Will we be getting an estimated release date, some screen shots, some updates on features? Throw us a bone here! I have been foaming at the mouth since I read the original Ambulation thread, and now I want more!

I await any news with eager as the only thing that keeps me playing at moment is this (note: i said playing not just passively skill training) and no you can't have my stuff if I quit I ill give it to my worst enemy in one last surprise attack,

I'm waiting on the 'Jita Fix' , to hell with ambulation .
Why they keep adding content to an ever broken game is beyond me , and lots of other players as well.
Maybe even start by fixing the overview ( again ).

jita has been fixed in next patch there are deploying a "stay out you idiot" sign, test have't shown how well it works yet but early tests show it increased jita population by 25% I guess most eve players think there smart :(.

Yes because the game is soooo broken.
STAY THE **** OUT OF JITA.
And, to emphathize the point AGAIN, AMBULATION IS NOT BEING DEVELOPED BY THE EVE TEAM. It is being developed by a SEPARATE DIVISION inside CCP on an entirely SEPARATE PROJECT and we get to be the lucky test subjects for something completely AWESOME and FREE.
Free content, imagine that?

My only question is how it will effect players who don't want it. Sure, it will take up some space, but so what? If you're running Trinity I'm guessing your computer can handle it. Ambulation, according to CCP, will run on a separate server than regular Eve, so you really have nothing to complain about other than the usual "What they should be doing is focusing on the space right now and fix that until it's pristine." Well, they can do that and Ambulation.

I've been playing this game for a long time now, and multiple Jita fixes have been deployed. Including dedication of a node to the one system, Jumps being rerouted, hardware being upgraded. Computers can only handle some many people in a system at the same time. Every time a fix gets made more players join and the blobs get bigger.
There have been other systems that developed the way that Jita did that got agents transfered out. The blobs just followed the agent.
More new hardware is on the way last I heard and newer hardware is being research.
Network comunication code has been rewritten too.
I don't think I've known any MMO company to go as far in handling so many players in one place before.
Simply put if you don't like Jita stay out.

I am very much looking forward to the Ambulation. Nothing wrong with adding more features to Eve. Think of how much time you've spent docked in a station, trying to figure out what to do next. At least now you can spend some time walking around rather than staring at your docked ship.

I have three topics on my agenda, should I be elected for the CSM, this thread covers two of them:
 promotion and higher priority of Ambulation
better communication of CCP about its plans and projects to the player base
I am too eagerly waiting for ambulation, and I have little understanding for the fact, that the Devs seem not to find the 5 minutes a week to quickly inform us about the progress of their projects.

Have you guys been to the main page of this site? They just put a news interview about Ambulation up, nothing really new, but it still shows that they're invested in it and working on it. Which is good news indeed for those of us foaming at the mouth for Ambulation  .

Because when they do the players tend to whine when content is not exactly as described when delivered or if they miss their projected time for deployment.
In my opinion that shouldn't stop them, since the majority of us are mature enough to know plans change, stuff happens, and what looked good on paper didn't work in practice. Still I'm pretty sure thats the reason they don't announce much or update the development pages anymore.
If I could ask for one feature alone for EVE it would be to have someone keep those pages up to date.
