I have the exact same problem. Started tonight, after attempting to open a second instance of the client. no new software installs, no patches in the last couple of days, no hardware changes. One night ok, the next nothing. |

I have a very similar problem, the only difference is that when I click on the client to open it, it automatically shuts down and says that ccp has encountered an error. The only thing is that I've been offline for about a month or so. Would this make any difference?

same problem, fix it by deleting all files in:
c:\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\application data\ccp\eve\

You do its either hidden or your on vista and cant access it.
Try this...
Click [Start] goto [Run] and type "cmd" and click [Ok] in the black dos box type:
cd %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\
Now type "dir /w /b"
If it says:
cache history.txt settings
your in the right place :D
