Ive tried altering the graphics but I dont think im actually Accomplishing anything. Its worse in Docks and ports... splash of black and bits of white. Its un-nerving... |

I had that with Premiu grpahics :<
Had to change back to normal

I get the same thing when using premium graphics and when i revert back to standard graphics i get the little black and white triangle flickers all over the place.
I loaded X3. which is a similar looking game as Eve and fairly graphic intensive with no issues. I am thinking I have something corrupted. I have reloaded a new client, but dont think i did it correctly as it kept all my original settings.

I'm pretty sure it's a driver issue. I have a 7800GS AGP, and reverted back to 84.40 drivers recently from 169's, and I got this problem. Unfortunately, I had to roll back for another game, so this kind of sux for me. Try updating your drivers, or rolling back... I'm going to have to do a lot of this until I find a sweet spot that makes everything happy.

That right there means your video card is either dying or overheating. Make sure the fan still works and you get plenty of circulation so heat doesn't stay on it. I used to have this problem until I bought a new video card to replace my old one. Did it on WoW all the time.

Thanks for the reply, I predict it's overheating then ( at least I hope so ) because I play EVE on a laptop, so probably the fan isn't that powerful as it's size it smaller than normal ones.
Guess I'll keep playing with normal graphics.
