So I left shortly after CQ and NeX came.
But with more then 6 months left on account ( PLEX ) I thought to check how are things now ?
I see new forums are here. Functional as much as CQ - great at confusing people. Love how they bloated forums with EVE Gate. Because thats how Facebook does it and FB is cool !
Other then that - any good news ? Like some news of upcoming expansion that might actually be good ?
Ship changes, new ships, stuff ?
Or is it just "My pink pony" stuff like new forums but not much else ? |

CCP has decided that the "Flying in Space" part of Eve is boring and have decided to ignore it. Making a console shooter that is going to be DoA and a Twilight MMO is apparently more interesting to them.
With that said, there will be a massive supercap nerf in the winter expansion and the vodka-flavored tears will be glorious so we have that look forward to.

Yeah I guess I can continue ignoring EVE.
Have to say I am sad. Was hoping "something" will happend and it will once again be that awsome game it was years ago.
Ah well, have fun those of you who still play EVE. And I say that with no malice behind. |

Sadly, it's still the same. I don't mind Incarna, or Dust, or even the WoD MMO ... the way CCP is fearlessly handling all of this is downright loathsome, though. I feel a little despair every time I notice the NeX store.

The short answer is; (if you want the long answer I suggest you start reading the patch notes)
Nope it is the same game as it was last year and the year before that and the year before that.
About the only thing that has changed is 0.0 politics and a few game mechanics maybe a ship or 2.
If you weren't happy with a the space game before you won't be happy now even if they did add in a new ship or two here and there. EVE is what it is you can only do so much in space.
When Incarna and DUST comes out then you will have different things to do, until then we are just getting more of the same old stuff.

Like what? Incarna is nothing more than an alpha version of the Twilight MMO and DUST is a console kidz shooter that has nothing to do with internet spaceships.
