Are prices available on the test server? I don't have a test server install up on this comp yet. I was just seeing if someone else knew. Otherwise I guess I'll install it and check before patch day.

LOL, if thats the case they're like 1mil each 
I know on the test server everything is 100isk, but I wasn't sure if everything at the LP store was 100LP and no isk/tags.

Faction drones have been in the game since Trinity, the patch notes said they were being added to the variations, which simply means if you look at a hammerhead, the 'integrated' and 'augmented' versions will show, currently they are ingame but do not show as a variation. This shouldn't have any effect but having their stats easier to lookup.
The supply for them seems to be limited by the number of BPCs dropped (they are dropped by spawns in the drone regions), they appear to be quite rare, while the parts to build them are not.
Note the wording:
"Faction drones have been added as variations of other drones "
Faction drones are added as variations, not added, they are already ingame and you can't get them from any LP shop, rogue drones do not have an LP store.

Rogue Drones should sell faction mining drones that can mine other ships! They shoot down the shields, and then start mining the armor and reurn minerals to the controlling ship...  |

I don't doubt about what you say regarding the bpc drops, but even if more were dropped....
Have you seen how many parts are needed to build just a single heavy drone? You'd be lucky to be able to build a single drone after getting 5-6 sentient spawns
