A character named Lobo Alpha msged me and we started talking about forming an alliance. We decided to bring a couple more corps into the fold. We all spent about 20 or so hours looking into websites, and teamspeak, maps, and 3rd party apps. It was decided that Lobo would form the holding corp and all 4 of us would pitch in on the alliance fee. So yesterday we each paid 250m, and today he informed us it was a scam. Now credit where credit is due, I was gullable (not the first time) and got scammed. But somehow I feel like I came out ahead. Took me 5 minutes of work to get back my 250m, and imho that was the absolute crappiest scam ever.

That is criminal genius on par with Megamind (sry 2 toddlers, its all i get to watch now a days).

It looks identical to me. Also You got scammed, the scammer got exactly what he set out to do, and it's the crappiest scam ever? Because he made his money while you lost it? I believe in the op i gave credit for the scam, want entertained me was the time invested vs the smal payout and the fact that he could have gotten more and turned it down. You can't just go around scamming while thinking nothing will happen, just like you can't go wandering around null-sec in a faction fitted ship without some sort of 'gamle' on your part.
