I havent been playing EVE for almost 2 months now and I have my characters both able to fly Marauders now and I reallyyyyy want to fly them and have fun in a new corp but I just cant seem to play eve..
The only way I've even been logging on EVE is just to play the poker for eve isk and thats it.. My characters just sit in station all day :(
Can someone motivate me to play eve again? lol
Ive done the large alliance thing and fought with BOB and Goons and tired of that crap.. basically all I want to do is kill people in lowsec and I would possibly go to 0.0 but only if it were npc 0.0 space.. screw shooting down pos's and crap thats boring!
No one have any motivational speeches to get people back into eve lol?

Hmmm...
Can I have your stuff?
Seriously though, maybe you should take a break. Step away for a couple of months and then come back in. |

Why not try joining the Red vs. Blue fight? It's basically just two alliances that fight each other purely for the fun of it and I've heard a lot of good things from the people participating.
Aside from that you could always try something new - trading, exploration, etc.
And when it comes down to it, sometimes you just get bored. If you can't find something you want to do take a break for a couple of months. Just don't give away your stuff, you'll regret it. |

Second that. Certainly worth a go. Here is their recruitment thread for more info.
(I am not a member or recruiting for them...just seems a possible answer for the OP) |

Honestly if you're bored just stop playing, there's no sense in forcing yourself the play the game when you don't really want to. You may find after doing something else for a while you'll have a renewed interest in the game or it may just be your time to move on. |

Let's face the truth.. EVE has a very borring pve content, so if you don't like pvp, a guess you'll be bored here.
If you like pve, try L2 or WoW.. or if you like space, try single player games such as X3, privateer, freelancer. Sadly, there is no currently good enough mmorpg with interesting pve in space.

I know the feeling to be honest.
There are only a few things that are keeping me in Eve right now, and the primary one is the friendships I've built as leader of a corporation. Having 100 members who rely on me to run a corporation for them on a day to day basis is one of very few reasons I'm still in game and active.
Regardless of what anyone says, Eve is a very social game and at present it's those bonds and the will to continue to lead my friends that are keeping me in game.
It's sad to see such a change in the state of play in Eve, but for me it's becoming depressingly more and more apparent on a day by day basis that small gang PvP is slowly dying due to the increasing amount of people who insist on playing "Hotdrop Online" to secure a win in an engagement.
I have no interest at all in 0.0 politics, or becoming a number on a roster in an 0.0 alliance somewhere, so forming my own independant corporation has always been the logical step to take.
With the advent of capitals ships, the ease of their acqusition, the introduction of a horribly overcomplicated sovreignty system and sever latency due to blobbing, it's left Eve's PvP system for those who don't enjoy laggy blobfests in a sad state of affairs.
Unfortunatly it seems like this is the way the game is heading and it's driven a lot of my old friends away in recent months, due to their unwillingness to fight blob wars, or people who constantly hotdrop three carriers on a solo battlecruiser pilot when he's already outgunned.
As always though, I think I'll stick around and stay open minded. Even with it's current massive drawbacks, there's not another MMO out there that can compare to Eve.
As a footnote, this isn't intended as a whine. It's merely the opinion of a concerned long term player on current state of the game.

I feel the same way you do.. haven't left station for anything but to fly around and look at stuff forever.
Take a nice, long brake.. maybe until Ambulation comes out. In that time.. play other games, go out with people.. or, make friends THEN go out with people. Just enjoy life and stuff.. when Ambulation comes out, come back, try it.. if game is still boring, quit again. What I'm going to do.
If you do quit.. be safe, have a good one and enjoy yourself. ----------------- I am death, the destroyer of worlds. |

I think what you did wrong was get the ship you wanted...Much of the excitement in EVE comes from the "New", new ships, new equipment, new opportunities. Once you have obtained what you want to experience then your motivation to keep doing things sags horribly.
At least that happened to me, the first few months were amazing...then it got dull. +++++++++++++++ For the LAST time...
