I am the CEO of a small corp. Not demanding...no harsh rules or anything. All of a sudden my corp members podded me for no reason. Just because I raised the tax rate from 10% to 50% without telling anyone. I really don't think this is fair. Can anyone help me get revenge? I think the ring leader was a toon named Grover Norquist.

If in the same corp why bother with low sec, u can shoot them right there in empire, concord dont seem to mind killing ur own :)
its funnier, convos in local are always fun. 'what you guys doing' 'UNSCRAM ME!' '50mil NOOB!' 'nooo im in your corp!!' '50MIL NOW!' 'your randsoming your own corp m8?' 'Bah' *boom* *scram pod* 'LMAO' 'oh wow, you guys are nuts' '20mil for pod nub!' 'i dont have 20mil!' 'bah' PKeeek *kick*
Now that's just stupid. Kill him if you want, but don't be an ass about it.

Edited by: Dirk Magnum on 16/04/2008 05:33:03 On the contrary, humiliation should be a perfectly acceptable punishment for total jackasses who practice nonstop jackassery to the bereavement of their corp mates. Follow up their humiliating corporal punishment by an announcement in C&P that the guy couldn't find his head with his own hands and that nobody should ever hire him again.
Of course for the poor chap who just isn't working out as expected in a corp, a more dignified send-off in the form of gradual levels of warning followed by an Eve-mail to them stating that they are having their roles removed in anticipation of their expulsion from the corp is more appropriate. But for the real jerks I don't see the problem in a bit of griefing before you kick them. Remember its only petitionable if the CEO continues to grant you roles when you try to remove them in order to leave the corp.
edit: I mean, you could do that if you were so inclined

There are MUCH better ways to humiliate someone than stupid smack in local or corp chat. Take this thread for example. A great way to make someone look stupid, and the best part is they do it themselves. |

I've podded corp members before, meh. Most of them know if they're not well liked and ninja the heck out of the corp before we can get to their ships, but if you're gonna leave on bad terms... you should expect it, and see it coming. OP: setup your own corp then dec your old corp? 78M isn't enough to buy mercs IMHO.
CEO: I think I would have just kicked him instead of podding him, but hey I'm not running your corp. I have to admit, it looks bad if you pod your members before kicking them. Lavraen |

I'll admit that I helped kill a corpmate before. It was in an old corp that I was CEO of. We had a member who was suspected of macro-mining in his Osprey.
He eventually admitted it and swore to refrain from doing it again, so we let it slide, but sent out a very detailed corp-mail regarding macro use. Two days later I notice he's been in the same system, undocked, in an Osprey for several hours and isn't responding to corp chat or convo's.
A quick check at the belts confirms he's mining, and going back and forth from the station every few minutes (all the while ignoring me, even when bumping or targeting him). A director came to the belt and popped him to get the point across.
He appologised again, but since he was a friend of another core member, we gave him one last chance.
Within 3 hours he was back at it in another Osprey.
This time we popped his Opsrey and sent him to the clone vats. Evidently his medical clone was stationed at the same station his macro was dropping off the ore, and he came back to the belt in his pod, sitting idle for 3-4 minutes, then warping back to the station. We decided it would be fitting to cost him some SP, and so we podded him 3 more times within about 20 minutes until he got back to the computer and proceeded to utterly meltdown as finding out he'd lost another Osprey and several non-updated clones.
I've still got one of his corpse hanging up somewhere for the memories.
Wonder if he still plays... |

Update,
So I get a nasty e-mail for a destiny alliance guy. Says I touch sollit again and me and my noob corp are goona get it.
I convo him and am like WTF? Do I know you?
He says I need both sides of the story. Apparently, listening to his own advice is not on his list of smart things to do.
Have not heard back yet, but for some reason, maybe he is a little curious as to why sollit got pushy, obnoxious and rude with other members of my corp.
I love the posts this tale of his has brought. Good reads.

This guy is full of BS. He convoed on of our directors a month back claiming one of our members was stealing ore from a 'friend of his', and to sort it out, or his corp would 'take matters into their own hands'. Well the accused member was completely innocent and we haven't heard back from this gas bag. Probably just a lame attempt to scam compensation isk from us. I say pay him no heed..
