Mixed Metaphor is recruiting motivated pilots for combat and industry in Empire space, primarily in Gallente and Minmatar territories. The MXD corporation is looking to build up a repertoire of eager pilots for combat operations against Amarr paramilitaries and other agitators in Federation space.
The corporation is role-play based but participating in roleplay is not mandatory. There is no specific skillpoint requirement but all combat pilots must be competent in the use of either Gallente or Minmatar ships up to at least cruiser level, and preferably well able to use battleships as well. Replacement ships will be provided for ships lost during combat ops, either free (cruiser or below) or heavily discounted (battlecruiser and above). Capital pilots are most welcome, but should take into account that their talents will be called upon in the event of heavy low-sec combat, and should be able to handle such vessels effectively. Cargo jumps using carriers will not be an issue and you will not be required by the corp or by individuals within it to provide such services if you own one.
Industrial pilots wishing to mine should be able to use, at the very least, a Retriever. Those wishing to manufacture should have Production Efficiency V. Researchers are also welcome, and funding for data interfaces will be open to discussion.
All in all, I'm hoping to form a competent, well-supported fighting force with a good military-industrial complex. If you are interested in joining, please contact myself via EVEmail or PM, or join the MXD Public channel.

Read and understood... there is nothing more spesific your looking for? What about US/EURO coverage, any special skills that might be handy, like, will my ability to pilot Interdictors be needed? Do you ever see 0.0 PVP action, would dread pilots be needed?
Are there any spesific restriction to race, will you bar Amarr players from joining etc?
If a player is Gallente but specialized only in Amarr ships out of a rolepalying angle will he/she still be allowed or considered?
I could ask for alot more things, but I assume it's not all that you will/can answer ofcourse.

We very rarely have anything to do with 0.0 but having an interdictor pilot would most certainly be something we'd like to have just in case, and allow me to assure you that dreadnought pilots would be useful whether or not we go into 0.0.

We'd prefer Gallente players, but will not bar membership on grounds of race - we work in support of a liberal multi-ethnic democracy, after all.

My co-CEO specs in both Gallente and Amarr ships, and I myself spec Minmatar/Gallente. We would like our members to learn to use Gallente ships at some point, simply because we value fleet homogenity and familiarity, but it's not an absolute requirement, and we do like to have specialised ships around as well. So, basically, although we prefer Gallente and/or Minmatar spec, any ship spec is welcome.

I have a couple questions for you. How many active members are around usually? Could i get a link to your kb by chance? What TZ are we looking at? Any other information about the corp would be great.

We are mostly European, (predominantly English and Finnish) although we do have a few American users. We usually get about 10-12 active members online at important junctures, and usually have roughly 5-8 online at any one time. However, even with only five of us online it by no means that we are ineffective in combat, as our killboard will no doubt show.
We prefer our members to have positive standings with Gallente and Minmatar when they join, but this is not strictly neccessary, as long as negative-standing members work towards getting these standings fairly quickly once they join.
