Some pilots have expressed their doubts and disbelief over the claims by the corporation that the prices charged in Khanid Kingdom are shockingly high when compared to their costs and prices used in other regions.
To prove our point we have travelled around a few systems looking for a particular skillbook and noting down its price.
The skillbook used in our survey is the ever popular Target Navigation Prediction, popular that is with pilots who want to work on their missile skills. We admit that this is the skill-area in Khanid Kingdom that is most likely to be the target of pilots who will charge prices that border on extortion. Missile skills are not that commonly asked in our eighbouring Amarr regions, but they are in high demand in Khanid with its ship configurations that mix missiles and turrets.
So what are the prices?
- The Citadel: 54,000
- Domain: 140,000
- Kador: 317,000
- Amarr Empire: 141,000
- Tash-Murkon: 250,000
- Khanid Bookstore: 64,800
What else is there to say? A book that can be bought in any quantity from any university in Caldari space for 54,000 ISK is sold for 5-6 times that amount in other regions!
Once again we urge the Khanid King to improve the educational facilities in the Kingdom.
We need a university, not as a status symbol, but as an investment in the future of the Kingdom!

I am concerned this may lead to a 'Brain-Drain' where our young people leave for Caldari space because of the educational advantages there. But they will not learn what they need to know about armour from the Caldari. Our own University would be the obvious solution.

HMMMM, I've hauled just about every industrial part known to the eve universe to make a quick 10 isk. Skill books you can do in a frigate and never have to jump though low sec. Seems like a good deal to me if you don't want to go to "insert race specific skills here" space. Hell if you do want to make the trip, why not pick up a few extras and try to make some isk on the deal?

It's a valid concern, certainly. But also consider that different skill books may currently be cheaper to buy outside the State.

Hmm, a course series that is dominated by Caldari Pilots, mastered in Caldari Ships is cheaper in Caldari Space! Shockingly Obvious News Alert!
Let's not mention the biggest trade hub in the galaxy is in Jita...
Also, it's worth noting that Laser Skills and many other 'Amarr' specialties, are in fact cheaper in the Kingdom.

It does make one wonder however why the Amarrian covert ops class ships are half that of the other kingdoms in Caldari space.. So your theses doesn't strike true in all and every chases, the state war academy does also sell Frigate books from all the kingdom aswell; for the same price of course.
But in either chase, move forth brave tutor, and teach the Khanid the true battleform; shoving missiles up the privates of your respectable enemies *grin*
