Originally by: Torlek I know, but while I personally don't have time to both play and bug hunt maybe you would get more help if as suggested you offer regualr bug hunters a bit of the monthly sub cost to make it worthwhile?
Good news that is on the fix list, but CCP should really consider the above.
I totally agree with you especially in light of how important it really is to keeping things running smoothly, but alas, community management isn't my cup of tea. I'm just a poor programmer...

Originally by: Feral And how many people bothered to log onto the Test server and acutally test the release candidate patches? Or test the missions? Almost none. I know this because I did, and 75% of the chat on there was "can I get moved to Fight Club", or "can I get hanger access". If you dont like the bugs appearing on tq, try doing something radical and help with the testing process.
that's what I've allways said, Chaos is a playground for player killers and maybe that's one reason why CCP has build a new test-system, wich is in fact much more usefull for testing patches.
if you don't show some respect, don't expect it from me |

Bug still there, any ETA on the fix? I assume this is a server side fix? === [i]I'm telling you Teal'C if we don't find a way out of this soon I'm gonna loose it. Loose it, it means go crazy, nuts, insane, bonzo, no longer in possession of ones faculties, 3 fries shor |

The thing that I don't understand is sometimes bugs that weren't in previous builds come in newer builds.
For example, I read about the bug that lets you control more drones than you have skills for. This bug didn't exist before but it does now.
I'm also a slight programmer myself and if I make changes to a program, I don't expect it to change something that's not related.
How can the drones be affected by changing / updating other parts of the code?
I don't get it.
Bugs like you can't pay bills. That didn't exist before and then it did. What got changed that effected the paying of bills so much?
I can understand new bugs with new content but new bugs effecting old content that worked previously... I don't understand?

No i got a better one: Imagine yourself in your shiny new iteron mkV with full 27% expanders approaching the station full of mega... You wouldn't even manage say "damn" before getting blown up by rats.
Now hear this better scenario: If you manage to spawn big rats outside a frequent trading station, just dock and call an iteron friend to stay at 60k. When tere are enugh cargo's left outside the station, undock, blow the rats and collect te shipment

Well, it seems to be fixed.
Nice job on the fix CCP, took far to long though. === [i]I'm telling you Teal'C if we don't find a way out of this soon I'm gonna loose it. Loose it, it means go crazy, nuts, insane, bonzo, no longer in possession of ones faculties, 3 fries shor |
