In today's EVE world, Which do you think is a better place for suicide killing in highsec?...
Gates, or stations?
Warp to zero has changed a lot of things about good old fashioned suicide killing, and juicy haulers are now using carriers to jump their stuff around between lowsec and 0.0... so where's the beef?
I was considering a research project of hauler scanning around the galaxy, but thought I could save some time by inquiring on the forums about your own experiences.
I was scanning around stations in Aunia and Dodixie, and found several iterons undocking with Hulks in the cargo bay. It looked promising. |

I have no idea. Personally I think suicide haulers are *****s. I've never been suicide ganked successfully by an enemy but I have been through a couple of harrowing moments.
Here's hoping your suicide mission backfires on you.

You couldn't be more wrong. I hate missions, mining, hauling, and anything else that doesn't have to do with pvp. Anybody who knows me can attest to this.
I just dislike suicide ganking.

Mom always said suicide missions were like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.
But I usually bring a target painting raven along, so the odds are mostly in my favor. I also enjoy a good pod killing and see to it that smartbombs are fitted. But I realize this is not the norm.
Anyone have some constructive input on your own experiences?

Bei-uedama route is best place for suicide ganking. Just warp from one gate to the other within 10 km where haulers are warping from and start scanning afk haulers. If your patient enough one will pass buy, with 5 expanded cargo's II and 3x cargo rigs with 3x large pos towers in its cargo or 5-6 hulks. I've gotten killes like that in uedama. |

Now what is beginning to become clearer to me is that you all are talking about good old fashioned pirating. Attacking someone in .4 and below I personally don't take issue with. That's the game and quite an enjoyable aspect too which I have partaken in.
I thought originally you were discussing suicide killing a Hulk or the like the way a certain alliance that shall remain nameless tends to do. (Actually I'm sure several people do this)
Having tanked both Station and Gate guns before, they pretty much did the same damage if I recall but its not like I did any mathematical equations or experiments. I guess obviously what you want to look for is HOW MANY guns are at the gate or station. I think in .4 it's only 2 at both.

Personaly I abuse Jita spawn. My record is 4billion from one t1 hauler.

How do you deal with the lag?
It makes sense to go here for vulnerable targets, but after 20 minutes of trying to fit my ship, and losing my sanity, I sometimes want to look elsewhere.
I hope you got a good hate mail for that one. :)

yeah we have had to take it in turns in some spots i seem to remember, when one of us got there first :D good times :D made a good few billion there myself
