link in shortcut bar at top of page has >>> for address http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp which 404's for me.
If I go to a discussion thread on a previous blog and go to the devblog page via that route.... this is the address. >>>> http://community.eveonline.com/devblog.asp which does work. |

I think dev blogs be should be restricted along with their forum posts. It seems to me that they are spending so much time "communicating" with the players that they are forgetting that they are in the business of making EVE a better game. Even then they are holding back information, dropping sly hints evey now again and generally looking down upon us as a community and laughing at us behind our backs as we try to decipher what's actually going on in their videos and try to guess what hints they are dropping on their blogs. This is a sad state of affairs and it can't go on. There is after all only so many times we can shoot at statues before they stop taking us seriously.
The solution is for CCP to be more open and more accessible to the community and last but not least more responsive to the demands of the community. I propose that a network of webcams and microphones be placed in CCP headquarters so that the community know exactly whats going on and who is doing what. A network of tannoys should also be installed, so finally, the voice of the people will be heard. You may be thinking that this falls short of what is actually needed, and that the employees of CCP have strayed from thei one true path before and will so again, only this time right under our watchful gaze.
To counter this possibility I have taken a leaf out of Pavlov's book and humbly suggest that we place an implant into every employee that will deliver a mild electric shock when they stray to far away from their computer terminal. We can also deliver more severe shocks if they under perform or mention tor mention he word "nerf" and "caldari" in the same sentence. These community features will also be made available on facebook, twitter and evegate. CCP might be broken, but we can fix them, we have the technology/ |
